Although some lessons seemed repetitive from my point of view, I understand their necessity to ensure the student's comfort in understanding and applying the technique. The course also introduces some variations in Illustrator techniques. However, I have reservations about the Dimension module. The detailed descriptions seem unnecessary; a few examples are sufficient to illustrate the variety of available components. Regarding the course captions, there's room for improvement. Even if you're the type of student like me who don't usually benefit a lot from online courses like youtube and other social media forums, this course right here is the way to go. it's really so easy to understand and connect with/follow together with the instructor's thoughts/brainstorming process while practicing the assignments which helps you grow and gain knowledge in the quickest, most efficient way possible.

I was looking for a logo design course to increase my knowledge, I don't have a good technique in hand drawing, but a lot of passion in this. Daniel excellently explains each topic by repeating it on every occasion, this shows the care and love with which he does his job. Also I like the approach with which we arrive at the final project, I have almost finished this course and I have purchased the other two modules. Satisfied!

The lessons have provided a lot of in depth information about the creative process, tool utilization and how to present logo designs to clients. An added bonus to the class and possibly the most valuable are the various documents provided like the logo questionnaire for clients to fill out, copy right forms, and email templates for how to communicate with clients. Great class for beginners to the software and helps to visualize what making a logo for clients could look like.

Personally this is one of the best courses I've taken on Udemy in that it has actually helped me develop a sense of confidence in designing things. Prior to this I had zero design experience I had my doubts that it would be possible to learn these skills but after a few ups and downs my I think i'm slowly making progress. The course was well organised, clear and easy to follow along with(if you genuinely want to learn something new). Another thing I liked was Daniel actually gives extensive feedback on the practical activities performed or questioned asked in great length. That is something I have only seen on one of my other courses on all the other course I'm currently taking.

I am about 75% of the way through, and already I have learned more about Illustrator, its best practices, and logo design concepts than I have anywhere else. I really appreciate Dan's go-back-to-fix habits to make his logos perfect, IE the curves look smooth and the colors are just right, as it goes to show that he is committed to HIGH QUALITY. I picked this course up about 2-3 years ago, stopped about 30% of the way through, and just recently, due to the demand to design a logo for my website, I picked this up again and I am enjoying it SO MUCH. An absolutely amazing course for beginners with logo design and Illustrator. He starts with the basics and take you to the next level with the designs showing many examples and even many tips on how to price yourself, contact clients and create logos that are exactly what they wanted. By the end of the course, you even get 6 projects that you can do by yourself and build up your skills and start your portfolio! The only bad thing I found is that when he starts the introduction to Adobe Illustrator sometimes he goes like you already knew things but if you do the exercises you get the hang of it with no problem.
