How to create flat design icons in 15 minutes in Illustrator (Udemy.com)

This course was fantastic! I used Adobe Illustrator 2025 and had no trouble keeping up with the lessons. Before taking this course, I was always intimidated by Illustrator and would often try to accomplish tasks in Photoshop instead. Now that I've completed the course, I feel confident in my ability to handle anything I need to in Illustrator.

Great instructor and definitely an expert with Illustrator. My only issue was by the end many of the tutorials felt similar in terms of what tools were being used. I would have liked to see more tutorials that explored more tools in Illustrator.

Great course for beginner to intermediate designers! Very useful to watch someone talk through their work process in a very simplified way. Though I've been working with Illustrator for years, with the help of this course, I've discovered several methods to speed up my work flow process and improve my overall approach to flat design. Definite recommend for anyone looking to familiarize their way around the program more efficiently without being intimidated or overwhelmed.

Great teacher! the lessons are perfectly structured and you can learn a lot of useful techniques. Some techniques are not for beginners and I think that if you are a beginner you need to start from a course that exposes every tool in depth first. The teacher in fact tells you to see his other courses many times, I think it should be specified in the course description.

I haven´t finish yet, I´m at the middle at the course. I was a complete newbie in Illustrator, this course was my first approach. My background is self-learned Photoshop. This course for sure is funny, well explained and I recommended for beginners as for me I have had fun and learned a lot of valuable information and tips. I will update when finish, but right now so far so good!

I found this course to be very helpful. Dawid delivers top-notch material on a topic without skipping the essential steps. As someone new to Illustrator, I struggled quite a bit trying to learn which tools to use and when. This course helped me connect the dots or should I say anchor points, and now I am creating the art I want without wasting hours fighting with the app.

I took Dawid's Illustrator web design course and while it was a little on the light side, he kept me interested as any good instructor should do. So, I decided to take this flat icon design course. First off, you should have at least a beginner's skill level. Meaning that you should have some familiarity with Illustrator UI and some idea of how to make basic shapes. I learned a great deal from this course. I learned how easy it can be to make flat icons. Most importantly, I learned techniques in shape building and using my brain and the tools that Illustrator provides. Techniques that I can apply to other uses in Illustrator. If you have Illustrator and have a beginner's level of understanding but aren't sure where to go next - take this course. It was well worth my time and money. Moving on to my next Dawid instructed course. :)

I had experience with other design programs and design in general, but almost none with Illustrator or vector graphics. Within a few hours of doing these lessons, I feel very comfortable. This course makes flat design super easy. I like the professor's fun and easy approach, but also appreciate the professionalism he fosters, specifically with encouraging the use of keyboard shortcuts, which is really the hallmark of a pro designer and makes designing and experimentation quicker and easier.

I've completed all the lessons in this course. Truly amazing and inspiring. I have been playing around with illustrator before but it never clicked as most lessons were just about the tools but without any practical examples. This course has been really helpful in putting the everything together. Cant thank you enough. Really enjoyed this one.
