The course is a good intro to web design using Affinity Designer. There were a couple of occasions that it would have been nice if all resources were easily available for download from their appropriate lectures rather than having to dig through comments to find links to random Google drive locations. All in all a good course. Thanks.

It started off really great with the presentations, but I wish we'd skip more of the redundant information when working with Affinity Designer and show more different styles and types of webpages.

I've taken other courses by Dawid that I really enjoyed. So I decided to take this one, and it did not disappoint! If you're wanting to learn how to create a website using Affinity Designer, then this is the course to take! The instructor was very informative and explained/showed how to create everything at a pace that was very easy to follow! I recently rejected and bailed on a class purportedly about novel writing Scrivener, because it had almost nothing to do with Scrivener. Curiously, the first 19 episodes of Web Design in Affinity classes are about nothing but design concepts and don't even pretend to touch on Designer. Inexplicably, in this case it's fantastic! So far, it's truly excellent over-arching conceptual advice about what a "good website" is comprised of--whether using Designer or writing straight-up HTML. It's not what I expected, nor what I expected to appreciate, but I'm happily surprised!Sad to say that so much of the next 25 episodes are demonstrations of activity with external svg files and images and so forth, none of which are provided by the instructor. So it wastes a lot of time trying invent/retrieve similar files, or *loosely* replicate activity rather than exactly.
