Modern Flat Design in Affinity Designer Masterclass (Udemy.com)

I really enjoyed Dawid's course. Creating the scenes and objects were a lot of fun and really helped me get familiar with the tools inside Affinity Designer. What I particularly appreciated was creating scenes and objects primarily using shape tools instead of always relying on the pen tool! The pen tool is great but, to think you can create most objects with shape tools, to me, is going to help speed up production (for my purposes).I recommend this course to those wanting to speed up production whilst learning to use multiple tools within Affinity Designer.Cheers

I love creating flat background scenes so, this course was perfect for me. I also love using Affinity Designer! I really learned a lot from this course and I have already been using the skills I learned to create awesome flat background scenes of my own!!! Thank you so much for this course! This course was pretty great. When I first got it I was a bit concerned it would be too basic. I'd already learned how to use Affinity Designer and didn't need to relearn that again. But while the instructor does cover some AD basics along the way (so would be good if you're just starting out), it's embedded into projects where you're practicing how to combine simple lines and shapes to form more complex flat designs. It's this way of thinking that's the most helpful takeaway from this course. The one downside of this course is it's highly repetitive you end up using the same small set of skills again and again and again. It would be great if the projects introduced a more diverse set of skills, progressed to cover more intermediate-to-advanced techniques, showed you more alternative approaches and tools in AD (e.g. advantages of using clipping masks instead of always dividing and removing the unwanted pieces), or taught you to see the world geometrically and break down a real-world scene into a flat design. All in all, I'd recommend for someone new or newish to AD and vector art!

For the bar project, the video for creating the bar tap is not in the correct order. It should be right after you make the lamp.

It's really cool. He shows not only how to use the software (Affinity Designer) but teaches how techniques for creating art that is universal across various softwares. Really enjoying the course!

Great course - you'll learn how to deal with Affinity Designer on a much deeper level while learning great modern flat design techniques. I've come away from this course with a great deal more knowledge and confidence in the area of graphic design, thanks Dawid!

This was one of my favorite courses on Affinity Designer so far! I learned how to make a lot of different designs all from simple shapes (a lot of which didn't even require the pen tool)! I didn't realize all the things that could be created from flat designs! The instructor was very thorough in explaining the different techniques to creating different projects. It's always a pleasure taking courses from Mr. Dawid!

This course is amazing. Not only did I get to learn Affinity Designer (which on itself is a great alternative to Adobe Illustrator) but also learned a lot of techniques to create different props. His lecturing style is great because he takes his time at teaching the concepts at a very good pace. Hopefully, we will get to see some tutorials on orthographic designs.

After learning the basic Ultimate Guide to Affinity Designs, this course makes you learn everything you did not remember lol.... I am a visual person, so this is a great course.Now, I am ready for the next step up.THANK YOU FOR ADDING THE CAMPING SCENE , REALLY ENJOY IT
