Once upon a time, my teacher asked me to write a program to check if the input is leap year. I went to my teacher and asked him "Sir, can you please explain why you wrote if(i%4==0)?". He told me to get lost saying "I ll never learn programming"
Are you like me whose teacher writes code and never explains why? You have finally come to the right instructor on Udemy who teaches you now just how to code but also why.
I have taught 100000+ people so far on my channel slidenerd which is rated as one of the topmost sources in the world to learn Android or IOS and other aspects of mobile development and general programming by several online blogs and forums. I have made several hundred videos on YouTube over the years and many of them are at the top of the search results on YouTube and Google.
I have real world teaching experience and a degree in IT Engineering. with more than 10 years of coding experience. I have won several coding challenges in the meantime. A very good course, a little outdated, but with some proper research you can go through the course easily. You need also to have a basic on object-oriented programming especially Java as said in the description.

BAM!! I like this...Very professional and clear explanation.Unbelievable course, is impossible to understand how many things I learned in just 3 Activities, you are really amazing.

nothing to learn from this course.... i think both the designer and the programmer created this course to make money.. there is nothing to learn from this course....

Brilliant course. Simple and easy to get started with Android Development. This is probably the best stepping stone for becoming an Android App Developer.

Thanks for the fantastic course Vivz and Gary. This is the first online course which I could finish all from start till the end. Learnt a lot and hoping to learn more.

The instructor of designing is too fast and assume that we understand some stuff ! I have to go back in video and search in web in order to understand. He must slow down a little bit.But he is great designer.About the Android instructor, he is a great as always :)But it would be greater if he explained more about support different screen sizes..

A really great course for beginners. It takes you from the design stage and all the way to publishing your application. Each lesson builds onto the next and starts from simple Views to more complicated ones such as RecyclerView.I have not gotten to the lesson yet, but the course even covers how to create your own custom views!

I have paid for 3 large courses on android development on Udemy. Out of all 4 this has been by far the most helpful because of the approach they have taken (building one big app instead of a bunch of tiny ones). The other courses did help me in some ways but taking this course made me so much more confident as an android developer. Developing one large app helps you better understand the development process from beginning to end and how all the pieces fit together. Often times after building the tiny apps from the other courses I felt like I learned something but wasn't sure really how it fit in with the big picture. After taking this course I finally feel confident enough to make my own app ideas into reality. Cant recommend it enough.

pros:- Good explanations of how, and even more important why, things work as they word in Android- Nice tips along the way to code more efficiently and how to use Android Studio to the fullest- Shows alternative ways to accomplish the same result- Good knowledge of android's workingscons:- Might be hard to follow for complete beginners, i would advise them to first watch the free videos by Slidenerd on Youtube.- Sometimes the speaker is hard to understand because of speed of talking and pronunciation, lots of information and quick change of screens in short time.

I have completed this course. This is a course where a beginner is taught how to create a professional app and not just a few concept about android. This is what I actually needed. I recommend this course to all.

great content ,, just what i need ,, thank you for taking the time to show me how to organise the folders for image size --Slidenerd Dose A great Job ( As Always ) ,, From start To Finish , And His Speed is Perfect ,, i hope he dose more on Android Esp how to interface with Facebook ( new Graph Api ) and same content for IOS ,,A Big Thank You

Best Instructor ever!I never seen search an instructor. He can change a person from a dummy to smartestWe are looking forward to other courses.
