Great project to develop and learn JS from scratch making something really fun! Didn't like very much the final lesson though, the addition of the 2nd ghost was kinda a mess, but it's still a great project for begginers

I've done a bit of hack programming in random times in my life using DOS, Basic, Maya's MEL script, 3ds Max's scripting, etc. This course is teaching me some great ways to make simple html5 interactive games. Thanks!

simple and very good course for beginners, but as the instructor mentioned in his profile bio that he worked as an app developer with Google for many years, I was expected that he can explain without keeping silent when something not expected happen in the code

The thing I like about this course so far is that the instructor takes us step by step rather than bouncing around. He explains multiple ways of doing something but ultimately shows you the best way I believe.

I am spending a good bit of time trying to get "Brackets" to act just like the tutorial. The instructor must be using some shortcut keystrokes that we can't see. Saving. Beautify. And I don't see how he is opening the page in the browser and seeing the source code as well. Update: So, half way. Did some searching and see that there are Bracket extensions. Beautify is one. Have not figured out what the extension with the green gift box is. I have figured out that the tutorial uses Chrome as the browser and the developer view to show what is happening in the browser.

The course was prompt and direct, no wishy-washy introductions. It won't turn you into game-developer material instantly, but this course does give you an idea of how JavaScript can be used to create a simple working game. Programming experience strongly-recommended.

Cool course to learn building a game in JS and using canvas! I wish his formatting was a little better specifically at one point towards the end since it made it a little hard to see what was going on but overall great course!

The course is really good, and I learned lot from taking it. However, some of the example code does not work, and you are left to debug it. Not a real problem, anyone should be able to figure it out. I took the course to expand my JavaScript game knowledge and this course did that. The section on .png images and how to cut and display them was worth the price alone. Overall a great course, I deducted 1/2 a star because of having to debug the example code.

This course assumes previous knowledge of JS so it doesn't waste time getting you familiar with JS. The instructor doesn't dive into the code and explain what the code does, it would be great if that is done. so I can't give it full 5 stars but great course.

This course is about functionality, not just a game. For me (a lower intermediate level), I learned many concepts of functionality I could not have thought of (on my own). For me, this course has a good challenging level of complexity. This course has one large script, and takes a fair amount of studying (& commenting) to absorb (which is normal for real world scripts). I recommend this course.
