Illustrator Fast-Track (Udemy.com)

I think it's a great course for beginners if you already have some basic notions of Illustrator and would like to have some projects to follow along with the instructor. As a more senior designer/illustrator, I found myself fast-forwarding most of the videos trying. I did learn a few new tricks, and it was great seeing someone else's workflow, but I do feel this is definitely more targeted at beginners. Nothing wrong with that, mind you. :) However, I would say that some videos could use a bit more editing. I like that since we are doing multiple projects, you can decide which order you would like to take this course, but I don't think we need 20+ mins of Martin using the pen tool to build the base shapes on each project, for example. I think it would be more beneficial to do it once and then show the end result while encouraging people to try it on their own.

I already have a lot of Illustrator experience, but I haven't been using it very much the last year or so. This course really helped me feel confident in the program again. I feel like I learned some really good tips for achieving the type of artwork I want to make. I'll definitely come back to this course again to brush up on my skills so I don't forget anything.

His workflow has greatly improved my illustration process. His teaching and examples are clear and great to learn the different styles and techniques. I greatly appreciate that I can watch this on my phone and work through the examples with him. I absolutely love all of his courses!

Martin goes into detail on how to create illustrations and which method or technique to use in different situation with practical application as you follow along the course. I am a motion graphic designer, and this is my first course in illustration, I could confidently say this was both a starter and booster for me in terms of illustrations. Highly recommend it.

This course offers a wealth of experience using Adobe Illustrator. Each section is fun and exciting from beginning to end. I learned so much from the instructor. He is very knowledgeable and explains each step in detail.

Dieser Kurs war nicht für mich geeignet, ich hatte mit mehr erwartet. Es geht hier nur darum, Zeichnungen nachzumalen und auszufüllen, dafür werden einige Techniken gezeigt. Ich hatte mehr erwartet, vor allem Zeichnen mit AI, da ich selber nicht zeichnen kann. Die Kreation von Logos wäre wünschenswert gewesen, ebenso Poster und Flyer erstellen. Das ist jetzt sehr persönlich, mag sein, dass der eine oder andere genau dieses Nachmalen braucht.

So far, so good! I like the teaching style and the depth of the course when doing each project. I started with the bear because I'm newer to AI. LOL. Great course! Looking forward to learning more!
