This course could be taught to 10year olds definately not a Master class there was NO Pathfinder Works hand‑in‑hand with Shape Builder. Combining shapes, Cutting shapes, Creating perfect icons, Building symmetrical designs, illustration were to simple children type graphics very disappointed

Amazing course, Martin teaching methods are excellent, the explanations are very easy to understand and follow along, very organized topics and simplified to make learning pleasant. I can safely say Martin is one of the best Adobe design instructors out there - he's even certified by Adobe and one of the top 10 in the world!

This course is jam packed with great information. At first I was upset that his screens didn't look the same as mine in the first few videos and thought about requesting a refund out of frustration but I then I did something I don't always do and then regret later. I paused and thought about it. Then I realized that software is always, always, always changing and so it would actually be helpful in the learning process for me to work my way through the material as best I could until he got into the meatier stuff. I'm glad I stuck it out through that brief period of frustration. Anyone could learn Illustrator using this course and nothing else if they practice and put the time in; it's fantastic to have this course to reference techniques. There were very few places in the course overall where I felt I wished I could have asked a specific question. The one thing I think that would really help a beginner are additional practice exercises at the end of the course. For example a practice file for each technique but without the instructor's guidance. I'm extremely happy with this purchase and went ahead and also purchased his Photoshop Masterclass as well.

This is the best course in Adobe Illustrator! The tools and features are explained in detail and instructor has taught it really well! At the end of the course, I feel confident having learnt the all techniques. The tests for every sections are designed to help the subject, understand thoroughly. You Learn more, what u paid for!

Its very good explained, plus all the given exercises are useful to train all the techniques. For me personally i do not prefer to listen class on normal speed as its too slow for me, but for someone whos english is not so good its perfect. im listening this class on double speed. i already recommend this masterclass to others.

Since i'm new to this application, I was hoping for a more step by step instruction. Documents we would be working on in each section/lecture was unclear and i would be taking time to search for the correct on based on the image shown in the lecture. Starting a new project or creating a new artboard was not indicated or introduced again so you got familiar with the processes of doing so. I would go through the resources provided only to find that i had to create a new project for the lecture. I'm about to complete section 3 of the course and it is going well so far. other than the points highlighted above, it is really informative.

This course exceeded my expectations and i have purchased the photoshop course from Martin too. At the beginning of the course, i was scared of illustrator as it was too daunting and i didn't know where to begin, this course is beautifully structered and covers all the essentials tools, tips and additional resources, that is perfect for absolute beginners as well as advanced users. I now have a strong foundation and i am ready to move to more advanced tutorials. Absolute bang for the bucks.

Martin is an excellent instructor. He has a huge amount of knowledge about Illustrator and he makes sure to share as much of it as he can in a structured, in-depth, well-paced manner. He gives you material and opportunity to practise all the things you are learning along the way. As a plus, he doesn’t only teach one method to achieve something, he shows you at least a couple ways to do things – with shortcuts of course – so that you can choose which one is more comfortable for you. I’ve finished this course two months ago and I can tell, I ended up having a pretty solid base. I’m using Illustrator since then almost every day to create illustrations and patterns. I cannot recommend this course enough!

I in no way consider myself to be new to Illustrator, but quickly realized just how much I didn't know about the platform (despite my university training). Martin has a very professional, concise way of presenting information that is both approachable and easily digestible. I've tried memorizing tools and keyboard shortcuts in the past but because I didn't fully understand or use the tools, I'd easily forget them and work SO SLOWLY. This course has been a MAJOR confidence booster! I now feel, think, and perform more efficiently. I've taken other similar classes on here but they're no where near as well thought out. This is a quality course that all serious students should take.

This course not only teaches you everything you need to know about how to work with Illustrator and prepare for the exam but each section has engaged me to become more inspired on how to build work and gives you industry standard skills and knowledge in such a comprehensive way in the learning process that will prepare you for future client work. This course really motivated to get me back into the work field along with regaining and improving new knowledge and skills!
