Introduction to Windows Server 2016 for Beginners (Udemy.com)

Excellent video series in which you present the basic functioning and structure of Windows Server! However, the only negative point I could mention is that compared to the usable information, the course is too long and contains little content. But keep up the good work!

Alton breaks a broad topic into discrete, logical sections. For each section, he provides background and motivation as well as step-by-step instructions to put the lesson into practice. He predicts and addresses some of the issues students might encounter and is highly responsive to lecture questions. I had no problem following along using Windows server 2022 and Windows 11. This class provided me a very solid foundational understanding of Windows Server and several of the roles it can play on a network, particularly as an Active Directory Domain Controller.

Alton is very clear and to the point making everything very clear and easy to understand. Great speaking and instructor voice! I have purchased over 30 different computer programs from Udemy, fortunately most were good, and some really good. However this course is the best course I have ever purchased from one of the instructors. Very glad I chose it last week!

This course is excellent in following ways 1. It is structured and very well organized. 2. you will get an over all idea and logic on why we need many things in an organization 3.good understanding on many common things and also a fair good introduction to complex things which he clearly tells to built on later on those complex concepts 4. Even for an experienced IT guy to be focused on core server ideas Overall I can say this is 5 star course meeting all things basically needed to advance in IT career

Even though Windows server is a bit on the boring side, Alton explains everything in an ejoyable and clear way, so I am happy that I have chosen this course. Ideal for beginners. I have also learnt more about Oracle VirtualBox than I knew from other courses, as it's apparently used a lot, but no one gives much thought to unveiling various tips and good practices.

The course covers a in a very basic manner, would have liked a slight deeper dive into server/networking areas, but overall does cover certain aspects well, Instructor breaks things down really easily provides simplified notes!

I am loving it. Yes it is a good refresher, and brings back memories of a host of nitty gritty issues I,ve almost forgotten about. The lessons on the use of the Virtual Box are really helpful. Your teaching method is great. And the sections on Active Directory and WS Update Services are awesome. It would be great if you have the next level course on Win Server 2016. I will go over the course all over again. Thank you so much.

This is an excellent "Windows Server 101" course. Alton walks you through some fundamental applications and server roles. He's a great speaker, and his clear delivery is a big plus. Don't buy this course for a cert such as the MTA or MCSA- this is a high-level introduction. This course is short, to the point, and serves as an excellent ice-breaker to Windows Server.

This course is concise and is amazingly articulated in a simple and easy way that makes the whole format easy to learn the information that is being discussed. There is a lot of instructions on how and what to do. Simply put, Brilliant and money well spent. Kudos to the instructor to his ability to deseminate the technical information so eloquently. I learned a Lot form this valuable course. I don't know anything about servers before taking this course. Now I can able to install Windows servers and its components. Alton is a great teacher, who have a good command on what he is teaching. During this course, I was able to set a test environment, on my PC. Alton instructions are very cleat to fallow. I would highly recommend this course to anyone, who is keen on learning basics about windows server administration.
