Course Description

Welcome to the fundamental and the most complete course 'Java from Zero to First Job'.  As it's declared in the course name, it's created for people who want to learn programming from scratch. You need to know how to turn on your computer, no other knowledge is required for this course :) The rest will be covered in lessons.

Just read some reviews to learn what other people say about the course:

Vinit:

"I am senior Java developer having 10+ years of experience. I have role to train new Folks for java. I have enrolled in 20+ courses in Java for different authors to check what is the best content available on Udemy but the way u have explained the concepts and provided homework and coding exercises(in test format) is incredibly outstanding. I am 100% sure whoever takes this course, will be able to crack java interviews. Thanks for this hard work which you have put on this course. Cheers!!"

Akram Kozak:

"I can see that he is totally clear in explaining everything and he also cares about his students all the time and never skips the smallest detail about teaching them. Thank you for the course."

Josua Hamonangan:

"Love this course.. Love with the visualization, it makes it simplier to understand.. THANKS A LOT"

Emanuele Verrienti:

"Before buying the complete Java course, I finished the previous one for free, so without any second thoughts or doubts I believe that the instructor absolutely deserves 5 full stars for the course he created and the commitment. Moreover the English language used is VERY CLEAR (and I'm italian!) therefore whoever affirms/writes the opposite is clearly in "bad faith" (probably "competition"?! ). So, completing my review, I believe that anyone who wants to learn Java and do it with an updated course should definitely buy this course."

Denys Malik:

"Great course. It is well-structured and has a big amount of practice. I've got a lot of useful info from it. Thank you."

Eslam Abd El-azize Mohamed Mohamed:

"wow its very cool course"

Kavindu Harshitha:

"Best JAVA course highly recommended Thank you for this course"

Sabrina Maia Quirino:

"Teaches incredibly well, he makes it easy to understand!"

Dayana Pergament:

"The teacher explains every little details. I love learning from him thank you so much for this"

Ishan Kapoor:

"GREAT TEACHER WITH GREAT TEACHING STYLE!!"

And thousands of other reviews and happy students!

Before starting the creation of this course, our team attentively investigated feedbacks for existing courses on the Udemy platform and tried to focus on the feedbacks for the top-rated courses to understand what can be improved in this course and make it, even more, better from the quality standpoint. After analysis, we understand what will help students to learn Java in a more efficient way. In this course:

- High concentration of useful material in each lesson

Sometimes you can notice that watching 5 minutes of our lesson is equivalent to watching other 30 minutes lessons.

This is because time spent for preparation for the lesson (script for the lesson, lesson structure) and video editing (to cut boring pieces of the lesson or time when the program loads) sometimes 10 times as much (sometimes even 20) as the final lesson duration after video editing.

Only your homework and coding exercises including the EXAM task might take approximately 20 hours to implement.

Also, each topic is separated from another. In case some concept will be explained in the next lesson and you don't need to worry about understanding this in the scope of this lesson - the instructor will make an announcement when a specific topic will be covered.

Go and try it yourself! We will appreciate your feedback.

- Relevant knowledge

After our team investigated other Java courses on Udemy we realized that most of them have nothing in common with real life. The information which is shared there is very old and significantly out of date. For example, the instructor teaches a framework which is not been used already for 15 years. Or instructors do stress on the programming design which is not used anymore at all!

The instructor of this course is a consultant in a top-rated IT outsourcing company and helps to bring cutting-edge solutions in IT for all his clients. Feel free to check the LinkedIn page of the instructor and check skills endorsement. More than 18 thousand people across all over the world (BTW most of them are from the top 100 companies of the world) evaluated the skills of Andrii Piatakha.

With this course, you can be sure that you will spend your time learning the right things from one of the best IT consultants in the world.

- Sequence of lessons

After the years of teaching offline, and based on the feedback of students who are passing online courses we realized how important the sequence of lessons is while teaching Java. The same issue is with the books where information is completely unstructured what makes things even more complex. For example, how students can learn object-oriented programming from the first lesson if they don't know yet the java syntax basics? Or how a student can implement a home task if he/she doesn't aware of java methods specifics, or doesn't know yet how to read program input?

So in this course, you can be sure, that you will not get a home task to implement without having enough information to implement it. The program which is in this course is proven by many students who completed it offline and now work as software engineers in outsourcing companies and as freelancers.

- Interview practice tests

Being an IT consultant in different companies, the tutor of this course was in charge of driving the interview process in companies to make sure, that company selects the best people. That's why the first interview is always test. In case the test is completed, the candidate is invited to have a conversation. That's why in this course we want to prepare you to complete tests successfully!

Especially for our students, we prepared tests that could be used to evaluate their knowledge during the interview process.

2 tests. 90 questions each (180 interview tests in total). 120 minutes each.

You can read explanations for answers! That also can help you to learn the material better. Don't wait, try it now!

This course of yours is very comprehensive, and you teach with great dedication. I truly appreciate that—this is the first time I’ve taken a course where I’ve received such a high level of commitment from the instructor. One difficulty I encountered while learning is that your English pronunciation is a bit hard to follow, so I hope you can improve it slightly. That's all I wanted to said thanks for your teaching, I hope in the future I can learn more from you

The lectures are good, but sometimes the practical exercises can be difficult and I could not realize how should I add Integer or rotate matrix, but after seeing solution it was clearer. Exercises are good for practicing, because I learned where I still need to improve myself. Also thanks that there are platform for practicing.

The course is good and full of knowledge for newbies. The teacher enthusiastically answered the question quickly. However, I feel that the code is too illustrative, if possible, you can instead use slides or other tools to illustrate the flow of knowledge. But I still appreciate this course because of the full knowledge.

Content's first class, but a real improvement is needed on the delivery, or subtitles part, You, may be comfortable with your accent, but not all are so, I really appreciate the effort you put on the content, i really thank you for the same, but if i am unable to understand the language, or get help from subtitles, which totally are messed up really bad, then it would be really difficult for me to learn from you. I am currently in OOPS section and, really have worked out hard to understand that accent and subtitles and make meaning out of it. I really want you to loo into it!!

The tutor speaks unclearly and the information is not presented understandably. It is not beginner-friendly and I feel like it is too fast-paced and I need to know the things already to understand them from the course. Also, I would like to address the tutor saying that because a person did not ask questions and contact him the student is not invested in the course. In my case (and I think for most other people's cases), I was not puzzled by a concrete method or something like that, but the problem was understanding the big picture and getting hold of the basics. The tutor is competent at what he is talking about but unfortunately, he is not even close to being good at getting in the shoes of someone who is learning the concept for the first time.

This course is just amazing! I've been willing to learn Java from a while now, but I never found anything relevant, but now that thanks GOD I found this course, it's simply amazing!! It takes me from the 0 to creating a full web page full stack, and even teaches you so easily, it gives you definition, examples, exercises, even an app to practice it, and so many other things that I just can't enumerate how many things I loved about this course. If you reading this and still have some doubt about this course being good or not, here's your answer: - This is one of the best programming courses that I ever saw!!!

First of all Thank you so much for preparing such a detailed course. It’s a great course. Also wanted to share my feeling for the negative comments. Just can we think twice before making any negative comments. 1. Do we even know how much time is required, to gain knowledge of such extent ? 2. Do we know, how much time is required to prepare 60+ hours of video content and efforts put behind it? 3. Criticizing the course for misspelling few words or not mentioning correctly in slides is not good on our part. Why don’t we try to focus on what Andrii is trying to teach rather than concentrating on something other than subject. 4. If we are liking the course, and having problem with few sections, why shouldn't we explore such topics on our own. 5. All the people around the world speak English in different accents, it quite normal, nothing to blame the accent. Last but not least, if we feel that we are having issues with content, grammar, accent, definitely there is money back policy with in 30 days, we can use that, but at least do not provide negative comments. It feels like disqualifying a person for 1 wrong answer, even though providing 99 correct answers. sorry in advance, if any of the comment hurt anybody.

I am in a middle of a Java programming course and overall, I found it to be a very informative and helpful experience. The course was structured in a way that made it easy to follow and understand, with clear explanations and examples provided for each concept. One of the things I appreciated most about the course was the focus on hands-on practice. There were numerous exercises and assignments throughout the course, which allowed me to put what I was learning into practice and see the results for myself. This helped to solidify my understanding of the material and gave me the confidence to continue learning and expanding my skills. The instructor was also very knowledgeable and approachable, and was always available to answer questions or provide additional guidance when needed. I felt that I was able to learn at my own pace, and the course was tailored to my needs and goals as a programmer. Overall, I would highly recommend this Java programming course to anyone looking to learn this popular and powerful programming language. It provided me with a strong foundation and the skills needed to pursue further studies in programming, and I feel confident in my ability to apply what I learned in the real world.

This course is very good overall. I had almost zero information about Java when I enrolled and I can say that I definitely know a lot more now. It has been a very detailed course, I can even say that it was a bot overwhelming at times for a newbie like me and I definitely didn't grasp all the chapters presented by Andrii. I will probably come back to this course and re-read my notes and re-watch the videos to learn more. For everyone who said in the reviews that the English spoken in this course is bad, I can say that it is not. The English is very good - yes, some words are maybe mispronounced and there are some grammatical errors in the text here and there, but I think this is not at all something to complain about. Good job, Andrii. A lot of PROS for this course. I cannot say that there are any CONS per-say; I would just have some remarks on some parts that I found could be improved: Chapter 13, Polymorphism - it would help if you were going thorugh all this info at a slower pace, explaining more in detail, because it is a lot of new information to be taking in; Chapter 17, JCF - I found exercise 32 very complicated to solve, even with the solution in front, but maybe that's just me; Chapter 34, Java SE tests - I think you should do something about the code in each question, it needs to be formatted because it is very difficult to read in that form and we waste time by copying the code in Eclipse or Notepad and arranging it there. Again, very good course, covers a lot of information that other courses don't and I really recommend it to anyone wanting to learn Java and especially to anyone who knows the basics and want to improve on that.
