The course has some very good informaition in it, although be warned it is dated. I thought with this course been updata in january 2021 it would at least be laravel 8.0 it was teaching but alas it is not. This does not make the course qa bad course though and a lot of the information can be directly used in the newer laravel versions however it would be nice to see a fully up to date course. Apart from that you can't really fault what is been taught so well worth the purchase if you are looking for more laravel information

Hello there, how we dewing? Fantastic course with what feels like a perfect range of concepts that are well explained. I took one other Laravel course on the Udemy site, this one covers more material, the instructor seems interested in teaching and does not quickly skip to a new screen after mashing out code. Really great course.

It’s a great course, and one that I highly recommended. The OOP refresher at the start significantly helps in understanding the Laravel framework; the number of topics covered in the real world project is significant and varied; and throughout it’s just a really enjoyable course to follow with Ryan’s insightful, knowledgeable and experienced instruction.

Ryan is a smart guy and definitely knows what he is doing. He does reply to your questions making it easier if you get stuck. He uses a Mac through the course, so if you are on windows, I would recommend installing composer and xampp. Worked great for me, just followed a YouTube video to get it set up. Others than that the course is pretty easy to follow. Update: 3/20/2018 The new updated version that Ryan recorded is absolutely fantastic. Uses the latest and greatest Laravel version (5.6) plus Bootstrap 4. I am almost done with it without any problems. He has been explaining everything in detail plus how to resolve errors and issues along the way. Great job Ryan.

I'm a windows user .. it's not that simple to install Homestead .. I have to search to install the virtual server ... Sorry, but this ist NOT a learning course. Ryan is making things and he explained nothing, max. 1%... He always says... look at the Laravel documentation ! BAD TEACHING. I don't know why so many people say good course ?! Unbelievable !!!

This is the best course i have found on Laravel. Every lesson is short and to the point... totally practical and easy to understand. user roles, photo upload, text editor for blog, mass email sections helped me a lot, i was strggling for months.... also learned a lot of laravel functions i did not know, hope to see more from the instructor. With the addition of your new videos on OOP, I updated the course rating to 5 stars! I wish I had these courses when I was learning PHP and Laravel a few years ago - it would have made learning a lot easier. But even now the OOP fundamentals is valuable knowledge that has improved my understanding and I'm sure new students will be glad to have learned in advance! I first bought this course some time back and now Ryan updated the course with latest laravel version and it's full of tips and tricks. Not many instructors would provide free update. Many of them would create new course and upsell to existing studnets. I couldn't thank him enough as I'm doing my masters project with this Laravel and this came in handy as I could speed up the project development. Thanks Ryan.
