Learn Black and White Photography Retouching in Photoshop (Udemy.com)

Instructor knows his subject but his accent and the way he speaks English is very hard to understand and sometimes I simply cannot make out what he is saying. English is not his first language and it shows. I'd give one or no stars to UDEMY for their absolutely awful software that is used for turning the lecture into a transcript. it can't figure out what he is saying so it fills in with words that are nothing but gibberish. UDEMY could do a whole lot better if they wanted to. Like getting better software.

Desde los comienzos, paso por paso todo explicado con todo lujo de detalles. Gran cantidad de maneras de conseguir un b/n realmente genial con fuerte contraste. Personalmente he disfrutado cada minuto de este tutorial. La única pega son los subtítulos, ya que son demasiado genéricos y no corresponden mucho con una traducción correcta. Recomiendo sin lugar a duda el tutorial. Y si conoces el trabajo de Marcin Mikus y su modo de enseñar, sabes a que me refiero y su material es cremita.

Marcin mikus is really amazing when it comes to editing as he was the one who really taught me to do the PROPER way of dodging and burning. Thank u so much Marcin!!

Course content is fantastic and worth the cost. It has helped me further my goals in becoming an editor. To make the future courses better, every action need to be fully verbalized. When an action is performed make sure to verbalize what you are doing even if you have done it once already. People don't learn by telling them once, it's through repetition we learn. When doing an action make sure to let the students know why an action has occurred, such as, why is Photoshop making a particular selection when working in the Blue Channel's? Section 7: Master Black and White was needs improvement on this. I am a very quick learner when it comes to understanding, but I had to watch many times to understand what was trying to be communicated to me. Hopefully, the rest of the course get's better. Great content, but need to convey what is going on and why every time. Thank you for helping me become a better editor. Great Stuff!

I liked how much I was able to get away from this course. If some images were attached in the resource section then it could've been helpful for us to practice and share. Nonetheless a great course.

Der Kurs bringt nützliche Informationen, die auch anwendbar sind. Das Englisch des Dozenten ist oft schwer zu verstehen, und die Untertitel (vermutlich aus "Voice-to-Text" entstanden verwirren dann oft noch mehr als sie nützen. An manchen Stellen würde an sich eine etwas direktere und weniger verspielte Vorgehensweise wünschen, und klarere Begründungen für die einzelnen Schritte. Gewünscht hätte ich mir auch ein Eingehen auf Tools wie Silver Efex und z.B. ein paar Class Materials, um die einzelnen Schritte selbzt nachvollziehen zu können. Nichtsdestotrotz ein interessanter und nützlicher Kurs!

You are lucky if you have grabbed this course. Study is not important. How teacher teaches you is also important. This instructor is great and surely you are gonna enjoy with his direct-to-point and in depth explaination

I am learning so much,even in the first viewing of these tutorials.obviously,i will go back over them to refine my knowledge base,but,opening so many doors for me with these editing techniques from marcin.
