Course Description
This course is an introduction to the C++ programming language for those who are already familiar with C syntax and some basic principles of object oriented programming. C++ is based on C, but extends the language with features such as function templates, namespaces, and (of course) classes. We'll spend a lot of time in the first hour of the course talking about streams, which simplify input and output a great deal.
Here's a list of what you'll learn:
- Primitive data types and variables
- How to create and use namespaces
- Basic I/O in C++ using streams
- Using stringstreams: input and output directly from strings
- File input and output using streams
- Functions: how they're like C functions, and how they differ
- Function templates - a look at writing generic code
- Classes and objects
- Constructors and destructors
- Inheritance (Single and Multiple)
- The idea of friend class members.
If you've been thinking about learning C++, then this course is a good first step.

This course is said to be for beginners and all skill levels, but it assumes a lot of prior programming knowledge and is more about learning the language after already knowing other programming languages etc.

The instructor has his content well organised and his choice of IDE and workspace is simple for new developers to follow. He allows you to see the reasons why the language was designed the way it is, allowing us students to better understand commonly available reference material.

Pretty great! I followed along really easily, felt like I learned a lot in a short amount of time. Best of all, everything works --- I didn't how to search for alternate ways to run things because of a typo or something.

Excellent course. I had an issue with understanding the basis of Templates and classes from other courses that went through them with not as clear a definition as this course has. Now I understand and have really reduced my code size. Bravo!

Aunque debería crear alguna aplicación practica y también aunar un poco en las aplicaciones gráficas.

Excellent for review. However, definitely not for those with no exposure to computer language. It is definitely not for beginners. This fact is mentioned in the first lecture but not in the title.

A Great Course, It gives People with some knowledge in C and Object Oriented Programming (mine was from Python) a great and fast introduction to C++. It is not enough to enable the participant to write a lot of Code, but it surely is enough to get all other information from Google without much problems.

The only problem I have with this course is the difference in the complier I have and the one being used. Thank you but Ill try else where.
