Gary Hiebner and Mikael Baggstrm are really great instructors. The session actually helped me to refresh my skills as entering back into the industry after 13years. So with a lot of changes in the Music Scenario, this course has given me a kickstart to be on time. Thanks for the wonderful course.

What an amazing course! I enjoyed every section/chapter of this. It took me from beginner level (from putting the hardware together) to getting familiar and navigating my way around in any software (DAW). It taught me all the basics of setting up, the technical terms, working with the interface, adding various tracks, editing and polishing tracks such as MIDI line, bass line etc. Both Instructors are extremely knowledgeable and have made it very interesting and engaging. I learnt immensely from the course. I particularly liked how both instructors sum up the concepts at the end of the course. With just this one video, I am able to understand how to go about making my own guitar/vocal covers as a hobby. Of the many Udemy beginner courses available on working with DAWs, this is among the best ones there.

Great lessons for beginners, I've also learned a few tips that I didn't know about midi and different functions I don't normally use in my DAW that I will try out.

Great summary for a beginner on recording, editing, adding FX, DAW templates, mixing and mastering. All of these titles are clearly endless oceans, but you should start from somewhere. Mike's collaborations and his own courses are great starting points.

I believe I know a good amount of this information already however there are a few key things so far that I had not known.

Brilliant course, well presented and thought out. Personally I had next to no knowledge of music production and this course was perfect. My only issue was that during the mastering comparisons of the audio I couldn't fully hear the differences in the audio but I think that is down to my hardware. Thanks chaps!
