Learn Socket Programming in C from Scratch (Udemy.com)

Instructor never addressed the Windows environment, even though it was mentioned in the Introductory video. Course is Very Short and the Code examples were really basic. I felt like I was watching a Youtube video instead of a professional video. No mention of sending files, such as images or anything advanced. Requested Refund

I have been through 50% course and as per what I see, this couse provides the correct info but isn't competent to be on udemy. If we are paying for a couse, we expect its content to be highly polished. This course seems to me like a regular video playlist on youtube. I won't ask for a refund, but please do some good video editing. Enhancing your voice, cutting unecessary video part, and especially if you are using Vim, at least change the font colors. The colors of your font are so hard to see. The only reason for buying a course here is because we need a spoon-feeded content.

I got a firm fondation on tcp client and server but on the http client and server I could not send the data to the browser I don't know why when I debuged it then prints it on the terminal, can the instructure make a program that will allow us to re use the port numbers

Explanations are to the point and clear. Not much chance of misinterpretations happening as one is guided step-by-step throughout the videos. Some basics in coding are required in order to understand basic creation, compilation, and execution of files but otherwise this course is perfect for beginners and those wishing to brush up on their knowledge of client/server interaction.

This is a good course for those who want to start from scratch about socket programming, the instructor is very experienced and good. The only thing is that it is a little bit small, like it can have information about how to connect two different pc. But overall the course is a must have for socket programming beginners.

Before this course, I read a couple of TCP Client Server programs on the internet. They seemed to follow the same commands, so I thought those were standard commands. After this course, I know that those are the standard commands which we have to follow AND WHY WE NEED EACH ONE. Would recommend this course!

This is really fantastic stuff. I'm new to the subject, and it was a bit challenging at first, but I caught on a bit after. I've used C++ in the past with little knowledge of C, and I caught on. I only wished we went more in-depth, as I was on a role, but it's still a fantastic course.

The course is very helpful to understand basic network programming. It would have been more beneficial if few more examples of real applications were discussed. More explanation of code would have been better help. Anyways it was quite interesting for me and got good knowledge. Thank you

Maybe could be more clear if the system call used were shown and commented during the course, as background material. Also, from my stand point and interest, a course on sockets over UDP will be very interesting. For instant, how to perform audio/video streaming between server and client. Anyway, clear explanations and interesting course.

Está muy bien explicado, da la mayor parte de las claves que se necesitan y no te queda una línea por comprender. Por contra, es un curso casi completamente en vídeo y era lo mismo explicar sobre el texto ya escrito que ver cómo escribía el texto mientras lo iba explicando. Esto le ha quitado ritmo a la explicación.
