Learn to Host Multiple Domains on one Virtual Server (Udemy.com)

Good course. Just wanna suggest that please mention the exact software name / platform that we learn on this course as multiple name at once is confusing. Also please update the course as it seems older than the time i am watching it in 2024.

The author did an excellent job highlighting the things that need to be done to host multiple websites on a single Digital Ocean droplet using Apache2, GoDaddy Domain, and Let's Encrypt. The slides are only 720p and often not super clear but acceptable. The author brings up real configurations and blurs his private information which is good but sometimes it's desirable to know what has been typed. Key and important points are: 1. How to point your DNS FQDN to DigitalOcean and manage your Droplet server's IP. 2. How to support multiple domains on the same droplet. The course is dated (Ubuntu 18.04) vs Ubuntu 22.04 but the principles and concepts are still applicable.

i learned how to use terminal and putty for user authentication. Also, I learned how to create a virtual server using Digital Ocean as a hosting server.

The course is good, rather than apache, i'd like to do this using nginx but the content of the course is well explained. as a note, I really dislike when people copy&paste commands on the terminal instead of manually type them... Just my thoughts

This is a very interesting topic. However, I'll like to point out that it will be less confusing for a complete beginner if the commands are typed not the copy and paste used by the instructor. Also, It'll be nice if you can explain those commands to help your students understand them better. Thanks

It was very effective course and therefore I would definitely be interested in attending others. The instructor was very knowlegeable and provided a wealth of information. I would defintely recommend this to my co-workers as well as friends.

Very well designed and Comprehensive course which gives us detailed info on how to setup a web server and host multiple website. But There should also be a tutorial for setting up email and configure with websites, which is a very important component for setting up a proper website. Thank you.

In 2 words only, "sheer excellent!". I learned a lot on what IMHO can be a fairly tricky topic but essential for anyone seeking work as a full-stack developer. Really easy to understand. Clear and concise. The examples were IMHO very practical, and explained in detail step by step. Tip: Watch the video if you can on a 2 screen computer setup, with your Digital Ocean and/ or terminal/ Putty screen on one screen, and the video (enlarged) on the other. Be prepared to frequently pause the video while you work through the examples. It WILL take you longer than just 1 hour but I think it's seriously worth it. Be aware that this course is apparently part of a larger master-class BUT it is self contained for this particular topic.

I was very disappointed, i thought that would get more detail explanation. I used the Digital Ocean LAMP and Let's Encrypt tutorial at the same times, and they were a lot more detail. The course would be good for someone new /a beginner new to Digital Ocean.
