content is out of date but still gave a good background/base knowledge of drupal

The instructor seems to anticipate what my questions will be and provides the info I need at just the right time. Very easy to follow and very pleasant voice.

I feel that this course could have been completed in at least half the time. Very basic and repetitive - I followed along at 1.5-2x speed, being that it was recorded in 2015 a lot of the content was also out of date.

Overall I like the course and I am getting a lot out of it. As a beginner I found the section on installing Drupal confusing, too many options to soon. I would have preferred to install it locally and left the cloud based hosting options for the end. I found version 9 is now released and version 8 harder to find so I skipped it and wen through the course to this point planning to return to it later. I was confused by what ran what part of the editing interface, the old what runs where, in part because we have a drupal site and I have some different looks in my interface. I can load the site files in a browser and it looks different because Drupal is not installed. The Drupal lessons seemed to have a lot of skip this now to cover it later which seemed disjointed to me. Please take this as a positive review, my own abilities are where I ran into limits. Now that I have reached the end of the course, I plan to go back and do a local install and revisit some of the videos on adding modules and theming.

I am a 20 year veteran of web and mobile development and I have experienced drupal before but with a new project requiring a strong CMS, I decided on drupal and needed a refresher so I came looking for the right course her on Udemy and definitely found it here under the careful tutoring of Rain Michaels. From the start it is clear that Rain is a professional teacher, she is knowledgeable and the course is highly structured and most importantly the delivery is engaging and on-point. Each section and lesson is delivered as you would expect with an expertly delivered teaching method, she tells us what we are going to do, how to do it, and then a careful recap and summary of each lesson and section.
