It's just alot of watch him click around and talk to himself. All part of the process but not a good use of time when trying to learn something. Also, he doesn't really explain what he is doing or how he is doing it. The instructor clearly has good skills but the course could be distilled into something much shorter.

Martin Svensson, Has been doing music production for over 15+ years. Martin Svensson Is Logic Pro certificate too. Provides knowledge of how to get an idea and use Logic Pro. Martin sticks with default plugins in logic. Shows how not get stuck. Where get ideas. Martin also does show another way on how to get chords by using midi generator 3rd party plugin to get awesome chords or not be stuck (highly recommend it). I like to say Martin Svensson, REALLY, THANK YOU so much for willing to come and teach. To me, your best. Courses you made, like FL Studio, etc., were awesome & what you teach hasn't been shown on YT or even in school to me!!! This course & other courses provides knowledge of how not get stuck in making track, etc. I am sticking with FL Studio though. Anyway, those who need more knowledge or guidance or have fun. I highly recommend this course for Logic Pro users or willing learn more with different daw(Martin does not use fl studio in this course). Those who are new to the course. Martin does provide knowledge of how to use Logic Pro too, even while following the course. Martin Svensson. You're awesome. I'm actually being for real!! I'm going learn more from you soon and I can't wait to see what you have!!!

I feel that this course only teaches bad habits. It would probably only be good for someone that has no musical experience and wants to know how to make a program write a song for them. In other words, I don't recommend this video to anyone the should be making music.

By Paul Domanski on 12/10/2021

What an incredible course. I learnt so much and came out with a song I'm really proud of that's very different to what the course creator came up with. Will definitely be doing more courses from this creator!

Enjoyed the course. Good sound design tips. Great resource recommendations. Things that were new to me: Cthulhu - to help with chord progressions; Beatport - to get song BPM and key, packing a folder on a track to combine cuts into a manageable package. This was all good stuff. The approach taken in the course is to select a song in the genre you want and then use that a framework for building a new song. I have recommended this approach, myself, in songwriting classes. It's an effective method for building songs with a winning, good structure. Criticisms - Martin clearly knows his stuff when it comes to finding a sound that he hears in a song. Obviously, this is learned with experience, but Martin presents it as a sort of fait acompli. That's fine, but someone new to this art is going to have to a good deal of poking around to learn how to a sound that they hear on a recording into a track on their DAW. Other than that, my only criticism was that the cuts between videos within a topic do not seem to be a clean breaking points. This can make the video a bit disjointed to the viewer. But, these are minor points. Overall the topic is handled well, the approach taken is a good one, and resources offered provide a great added benefit.

I have been loving this course TO BITS. The instructor explains why he's doing what he does, he shows his process, and also shows shortcuts. If you want to see the result of a composition segment and not the invention of it, you can easily find that place in the videos. The course is taught in such a way that you can make up some of your own parts and not lose your place. I super love that. Martin is also super responsive to correspondence! He replied to all my questions very quickly. Note from the end of this course: My tune was not identical to Martin's tune, and I had a blast making other decisions and being able to keep going along with the lesson. I made a lot of discoveries about Logic, and I'm looking forward to learning more about the program itself.

By Christopher Q on 4/21/2019

Martin is a good instructor and his courses are very simple to follow. This course definitely taught me a lot of techniques and work flows that I can continue to use in future music productions, and for that I am grateful.

That would be nicer to have all videos more organised , like in one you are telling about samples , in other bass, then automatisation etc. and what I didn't like that you change the decisions while making , think would be better if you ll know already before what you gonna show in the course . 4* from me , but of course it consists a lot of helpful info!! thanks xx

By Bruno Motta on 1/24/2019

Very good for beginners! You gave me cool ideas with xfer cthulhu and how to use it!! Even for Advanced producers those tips could help ! I think maybe you could do a advanced course working more into advanced mixing mentioning stereo, mid side, saturation to really sound big like EDX. And also Add more 3rd parties plugins and Vsts (I know you tried to stay with built in plugins but maybe for advanced course its worth) Best Regards Bruno Motta

By Dmitri Izotov on 9/17/2018

First of all this is an amazing course, exactly what I was looking for. This will show you how to make music with a great example and loads of tricks from the master. Martin is also very good instructor with a very pleasant voice.
