Aborda lo básico de selenium, pero la explicación no es suficiente en todos los casos, se podría hacer más general el curso pero es específico a los ejemplos q se tienen, estas páginas a la fecha ya han cambiado y el proceso para hscer scraping del manual no. Por lo demás los ejercicios cubren lo básico

Basically, the course is not bad. Its programming is not consistent at all. He does a procedure in a completely different way and then tells you that it can be done this way. The tasks are simple and well divided into sub-tasks. However, it doesn't provide much explanation as to why it uses the methods it does.

The instuctor style of teaching is amazing. The instructor has a deep understanding of the subject matter, which makes the learning experience more effective. Practical content: The inclusion of practical examples and hands-on exercises helps to make the learning experience more engaging and interactive. Superficial to in-depth learning: The instructor's approach seems to be helping you move from a superficial understanding to a more in-depth understanding of the topic.

what a course for anyone want to learn and dive into the world of scraping .. i just wanna give a note that this course is extremely insightful, efficient and knowledge abundant and that's what exactly i was looking for .. but no-beginner type of course which i think would be a little indigestible for a non-beginner learner .. to be honest , i dislike those kind of courses that's why .. 5 stars all tha way.

So I've completed this course now and these are my remarks: Pros: 1. This might actually the only course you need to scrape any websites. After completing this course, all you need to do is to learn some basic html commands and you're good to go with getting data from API/any websites 2. Again combine with the knowledge of HTML/CSS commands, this course will teach you to automate your scraping process and will teach you to add some inputs to the website without entering the page manually. 3. After taking this course. you can automate/manage your own task using python 4. I gained a great confidence in the knowledge of packages like bs4, requests and selenium. Cons: 1. Some parts of the course are slightly outdated and you need some google search to fix the issue 2. Especially the amazon scraper section has to be updated 3. Lastly, Its not a con, more like a tip. You don't have to know the concepts of XPATH/CSS Selectors in depth, instead you can just inspect the site and copy the required method(XPATH/CSS) of desired element directly. Overall this is a really great course for beginners who wants to learn web scraping and automation with python!!

After trying various number of Courses in YouTube and different platform, I got this and love the way he organized the all basic concepts to make a better understanding about the topic is Just Wow. Lots of Love from India .

the course and examples need to be updated. the web automation part especially needs to be updated so that students can complete tasks successfully without getting errors. this makes the course not beginner friendly and discouraging for beginners because of the numerous challenges encountered. for experienced programmers it might be easier to overcome the challenges related to outdated code. The instructor speaks English fluently and is a great instructor.

Très intéressant pour un début mais il faut creuser ensuite. J'aurais aimé juste savoir comment relier l'utilisation de Selenium et BeautifulSoup. J'ai trouvé (DRIVER.page_source) mais une vidéo supplémentaire pour ça aurait été top avec un exemple.

This course is good as a refresher if you already have experience with Selenium. If you are a beginner some of the concepts may be hard to understand since there are no in-depth explanations. I was able to learn some new things such as writing to an excel sheet with the data that was being scraped. The formatting of the excel sheet did not come out as intended since some of the product pages are different and may contain more or less information from what is being scraped. I really liked how the scripts were written and each function was maintainable and easy to read. I wish this course would have gone over explicit waits and how to run a bot periodically on a server. Nonetheless, still a good learning experience!
