Based on the ratings of 232 students, a sample of their written reviews and the syllabus, as the course stood in May 2026. No course pays to be reviewed.

This is the model answers companion to the teacher's Express Course, which covers strategy. Here that strategy gets applied. The IELTS Teacher records high-scoring answers to over 100 Speaking questions, then follows each with a focus lecture on vocabulary, grammar and delivery. Parts 1, 2 and 3 get a section apiece, and the whole thing runs 12.9 hours across 102 lectures. It assumes you already know the exam format and have roughly B1 English or better.

Reviewers like the breakdown lectures and the prompt to answer each question yourself before listening. Several say the example answers helped them rethink their own answers and pick up useful words and phrases. Two report a 7.5 overall band, though one scored 6.5 in Speaking itself and the other also took the writing courses. Ratings are strong: 174 of 232 are five stars and none fall below three. Criticism is mild: one reviewer wanted downloadable PDFs.

It was last updated in May 2026, so it is not stale. It is a practice bank, not a teaching course, so anyone new to the exam should start with the Express Course first. For test takers aiming at band 7 or above who want many spoken examples to study and adapt, it is an easy recommendation. Nobody should expect mock tests, since the course has none, and it covers Speaking only.

In this course, you'll hear high-scoring answers to over 100 IELTS Speaking questions and then you'll watch in-depth analysis lectures for each and every one of them.

Over the duration of the course, your vocabulary will expand as you learn a wealth of new words and expressions for many different topics, and your grammatical capabilities will improve as you see how high-level grammar is used in practice.

Your fluency and coherence will also reach new heights as you discover new ideas and new techniques for answering the examiner's questions. Your pronunciation will likewise improve as you have the chance to listen closely to a native-speaker's delivery, including syllable stress and intonation, and learn about some of the most common pronunciation errors.

You'll also have the chance to test how much you've learnt by taking quizzes at the end of each of the sections.

Each of the three sections in the course corresponds to the individual parts of the Speaking test: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3. In each of the sections, you'll have the chance to watch me delivering high-scoring answers to each of the examiner's questions before we explore each of these answers in-depth in a focus lecture.

I encourage you to take part in this course with me by also answering these questions yourself, both before seeing my own and then once again after watching the focus lectures. If you record your attempts, you should notice an immediate improvement in your speaking .

This course is appropriate for anybody aiming to achieve a band 7, band 8 or band 9 in the IELTS Speaking test, but, although challenging, it will also be appropriate for anybody aiming to achieve a band 6 or 6.5. I'd recommend having a minimum English level of B1 before signing up.

This course is full of practical exercises with in-depth analysis. All examples allow me to observe how native English speakers discuss these themes, which will prepare me for giving a speech.
