MATLAB for Engineering Students Part 1 (Udemy.com)

As a first contact with matlab this course is amazing. Taking from the very basics to loops and functions, the explanation was very clear apart from two quizzes where the voice wasn't clear, but it didn't make a problem. Overall the course is amazing but for a better matlab understand I think following on to the part 2 will be better, and thanks.

This is the first time I have taken MATLAB, and I am learning a lot. The examples are explained well. I've been following along with the recommended book, and having some of those practice problems available to me has been nice for getting extra practice as well.

Course content is just fairly enough yet nice examples presented. I don't really feel like I've learnt what I should supposed to learn in Matlab, content maybe easily doubled. The worst side, instructor doesn't really bother to reply your questions.

The course was beyond my expectations: 1- The instructor is confident and well versed in what she is teaching. 2- The course is to the point. 3- The concepts, Examples and Quizzes are well explained. It has been a great undertaking thanks to the instructor.

The teaching in this course is great, informative, and very useful, however, the example questions after each lesson taught are very unclear and incomplete in information and require me to look into the code or the explanation video, which makes it impossible for me to try to solve it on my own first as I would like to test my knowledge. I think the example questions should be stated as quiz questions to give the opportunity for the learner to think of the solution and try to code it on one's own before seeing the solution or explanation video of the solution.

As a master student who has basic knowledge in MATLAB I already know some topics but sometimes I don't know why I use these arguments, every time i have a project I look in internet to search how to write a statement or how to write for example for or while or if loop or how to do vectorization. so I decided I have to take some courses and arrange and organize my skills in MATLAB. the lecturer covers very well all basic topics needed for an engineering student. ( even helpful for a master student and he struggels with MATLAB) PROS: - topics are coverd and organised very well. - there are slides for each topic so if you forget a syntax or a structure of a function you can go back to slides. - the exmaples are very helpful, you have to follow the examples step by step, they will help you to understand more how to code. - quizes are helpful, try to pause the video and try alone then check your answer. CONS : - the sound quilaity of some videos maybe ( not all of videos i would say 4 or 5 videos, specially in quizes or examples ) is not good, either the voice is very low, or do you feel that the lecturer far away from the microphone. - some videos are long ( more than 20 mins ) sometimes you need a break to continue. in general I have learned alot here , I could organise my ideas about MATLAB and I have already bought part 2 and excited to start with it.

I am very happy to have bought a really legendary course. She tells it very well.

The course was well structured, along with numerical examples of varying difficulty as and when needed. This course indeed is an effective, and smooth introduction to Matlab Programming.
