Cherish Qualls, PhD
Hi!
I graduated from Auburn University with a M.S. and PhD in Aerospace Engineering. After graduation I worked as a Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin. After working in industry for 8 years I decided to focus on teaching full time.
I have 18+ years of teaching experience and have helped 1000's of students transform from freshmen to successful engineers. Some of the courses I teach include: Statics, Dynamics, Thermodynamics, MATLAB, Numerical Analysis, Controls, Fluid Mechanics and Solid Mechanics. I have taught at Auburn University, University of North Texas and Texas Christian University.
I believe in teaching my courses in a way that I wanted to be taught when I was in school...plenty of examples, not a lot of theory. Many instructors don't understand the learning needs of their students. They give complicated lectures full of theory but then hardly ever work out examples. The examples they do work tend to be simple or the examples already presented in the course textbook.
This is why I recently founded STEM Course Prep. STEM Course Prep is meant to help struggling students succeed before they have to drop or fail a class.

I learned a lot in this class. I will be taking statics and dynamics next, and I think the concepts I learned, particularly in the last chapter, are going to be a very useful tool as I work through those courses. The only thing I think that is missing from this course is a final comprehensive exam to practice all of the concepts. Overall, this is a great course. Thank you, Dr. Qualls!

It is good for a beginner level but was hoping to see more advanced stuff like exploring Simulink and Gui

Hello, I had a very good experience and I was able to acquire new knowledge, you just have to take into account having the courses in more languages

Up till now it is good to learn. I'm really enjoying it. I would love too if there will be many more quiz with different difficulty levels.

Highly recommend students and practicing engineers to take both part 1 and 2 of this course, irrespective of your specialization. Clearly structured course with ample examples to consolidate understanding.

I get entire satisfaction from the study.Very good voice(understandable, fluent). quiz also real exercises. That is the real difference between PHD tutor course and some amateurs(bestsellers)!!!.

I've really enjoyed this course. The last chapter was the most beneficial for the research I'm doing, but overall both matlab courses wonderful. I would love it she would make a matlab 3 and 4 as well.

She keeps it simple and clear. Very easy to follow along. I’m taking this course as a supplement for my university matlab course. Highly recommended. Much obliged
