This course teaches you how to set up CRUD functionality using frontend and backend technologies as separate units. React and Vite are used for frontend, NodeJS is used for backend. For DB this course uses MongoDB. React Router Dom is used for frontend navigation and prefetching data as well as sending data from html forms. TanStackQuery is used for cashing requests. This course is for advanced leaners at least of one or two years of experience who wants to learn how to build full-stack applications in a modern manner. Thank you for this usefull and well-structured course!

Well explained throughout. But the project in itself is pretty basic. Doesn't have payment gateway, data modeling, etc. which are essential in a MERN application.

The teacher explains each topic deeply and repeats the main concepts throughout the course to ensure everyone is on the same page. 100 % hands on project. The readme has been very helpful with precise notes for each section on the code and with additional resources. The course helped me build valuable knowledge for an aspiring fullstack dev.

Explained at a good level, and the readMe is excellent. In my opinion, module.css is more convenient and does not require an additional package in order to arrange it for reading, but it is already a matter of convenience and habit. I wish all the lecturers would simplify the material like this, because when the foundation is good, everything runs after that

Overall course is good. Only thing is little bit outdated. For example instead of de-bouncers in the react component it could be used useEffect by returning an arrow function to cleanup timeouts... etc. Thank you for course.

Completed the app and deployed to render.com successfully! John Smilga is one of the best instructor in Udemy, I learnt many new things in this course. The way John teaches is amazing!! I would definitely recommend this course to a Beginner in MERN or someone who wants to create a nice app with good features. now it is time to purchase your other courses I have a request: if possible make a course of some advance topics, or things that a senior software engineer should know.
