Course Description

Hi, I’m Brad, and I’m thrilled you’re interested in diving into the fascinating world of Microeconomics with me.

Economics isn’t just about data, graphs, and problem sets—it’s the study of human behavior and how we act in an economic setting. More than that, it provides a deeper understanding of global politics, societal tensions, and the forces shaping our world today.

This course is packed with over 80+ video lessons and downloadable notes that cover:

  • Introduction to Economics

  • Demand and Supply

  • Market Equilibrium

  • Elasticities

  • Government Intervention

  • Market Failure

And most importantly, I hope to share with you my passion for Economics—a passion I hope is contagious!

I teach Economics because it’s the study of people, their stories, their history, and the societies they live in. To me, understanding economics is about understanding ourselves and the human condition. A solid grasp of economics doesn’t just explain the world; it opens doors to empathy and insight. That’s what excites me, and I can’t wait to share that excitement with you.

A Weekly Bonus

As part of this course, you’ll receive a subscription to my weekly newsletter, Just One Thing. Each Monday, you’ll get a two-minute breakdown of one essential economic concept, delivered straight to your inbox. It’s a quick and stress-free way to expand your understanding of economics, one idea at a time.

I’ve been fortunate to bring a global perspective to my teaching, shaped by my time as a Peace Corps Volunteer, my education at Duke University, and my travels to over 55 countries. These experiences allow me to connect Economics to real-life examples, making the concepts more meaningful and accessible for you.

I’m looking forward to being a part of your journey in Microeconomics.

The instructor was talking a bit fast, but with the notes, I can understand him a little better.

this is a fantastic course, so far the videos are filled with explanations which is really helpful, for someone who has never studied economics, I am so pleased he has made this as accessible to all, great way for teaching explains it simply which I really enjoy, I've been reading about economics from books which has not been an enjoyable task, but when I watch these videos then go over what I have read before then I get a lightbulb moment, really fantastic

My first goal as I got this course was to understand if Economics was something I might be interested in. Oh boy, the energy and the passion of this Professor not only made me "bingewatch" this course but also gave me a really solid foundation that could be extremely helpful to me as well as to anybody wanting to keep studying in this field. Thank you so much for this.

I really enjoyed this course! Economics is not something I cared about during my early educational years, but as I've become older I see how important it is. Brad does an incredible job of making the information easily digestible. The only thing I would love to see in an updated version of this course would be how supply and demand works for something more modern like a web application. Overall, GREAT course!

This is wonderful course. The teacher has an approach that is very engaging and keeps you motivated through some complex topics. He has the ability to break down difficult concepts into lessons that are easy to to understand, and he demonstrates them with real world examples making them very clear. I would highly recommend this course to anybody who is studying economics, I'm studying economics as subject in a business masters degree and this course has proven invaluable. Also recommended to anybody who has a passing interest in how economics shapes the world around us.

A great course on the foundation of microeconomics. I really enjoyed it. I think certain areas that could improve are explaining more in detail, for example, why the triangle portion in a market failure diagram indicates the potential welfare gain/loss, and how the areas for consumer benefit, producer benefit, and total welfare loss are formed in a Per Unit Subsidy diagram - mathematically how they are derived. Some insights on that would have been really helpful.

This course is a great way to refresh your understanding on micro-economics. It goes over all the basic economic definitions and ideas, as well as go into a little depth in regards to economic externalities. The instructor is great as he brings life into what many people regard as a dull subject. I highly recommend this course for someone who is looking to refresh thier economic background.

Brad is an excellent teacher who is enthusiastic about what he is teaching. Although I've never had a background in either microeconomics or macroeconomics, I was able to get a good grasp and overview of microeconomics without drowning in little details and complicated formulas like we do in college lectures. So if you are looking for an comprehensive economics course to understand key consepts of economics, this course could be a gem for you.

Excellent. 1, Usually I feel very tire after watching Udemy course for 20 min. However, I don't feel tire with this course even after 1 hr. 2, I thought economics could be boring. This course is fascinating. 3, I thought it could be difficult. The instructor guides it so easy to follow. 4, Bonus. The instructor is so energetic & engaging. I learn communication skill & body language too.

I don't usually leave extensive reviews of the training I attend. However, this time I felt it was necessary. I am an industrial engineer; during my professional career I have always longed for a better understanding of economics, but lacked the opportunity to attend a formal education. Of the countless essais and tutorials I have tried to fill this gap, this training is the one that has allowed me to structure my thoughts in an economical manner. I sincerely enjoyed everything: the pace, the setting, the method and even the occasional mistakes...worth every moment and every penny...let's say this course definitely maximized my utility . So, I thank you very much for that, Sir. I won't go through the shortcut of saying "you were born a teacher" although it is clearly your thing, for that wouldn't pay credit to the huge amount of work you must have put into getting there. But know that you have made me intrigued by this wonderful social science more than ever. I can't wait to start the macroeconomics course. If you can give advice for a book to keep it up (even one with exercises), I would really appreciate that. Kindest regards.
