My company wouldn't send me for training, so I don't went online looking for a way to learn access. I'm really glad I chose this course as I was able to build exactly what I needed to in order to make my job easier. If I'm going to get paid the same regardless, I'd rather work smarter, not harder and this course help show me how to make that happen.

Engaging, splendid use of words. Guy designed this course to be interesting, accessible, thorough and motivational. Why do I like this course? It provides me with a "yawning gap" that excites curiosity, and an exciting adventure in learning more, not only about Access, but also the theory and design of databases.

Best course and best teacher. Everything is demonstrated clearly and with very easy progress. One thing though: I wish to separate each concept in its own video, since some videos introduces multiple concepts at the same time.

Basic information. Well taught. Generic uses of data. I would like to see a developer approach to making a database. Perhaps case studies instead of defining the parts of a database and how each part works, show me how they are used in different scenarios. For example, creating a time sheet database, or a monthly inspection database that can track trends and show anomalies. But if you want the know the parts of a database and how they basically work this is a decent course.

This seems to be an excellent course for beginners as well as intermediate Access users. All topics are clearly explained with multiple examples and it's easy to follow the instructor. I would recommend this course.

It's been more than 10 years since I used MS Access in school and I decided to take this course to refresh and learn new features in Access 2013. I couldn't be happier with the instructor. The contents are very well organized from the very beginning for anybody can understand. The instructor is very thorough with the knowledge with his material and speaks at proper speed for students, not too fast not too slow. He explains very clearly each chapter with such clarity that I think I could just listen to him and learn without actually trying it. Not a good idea as a student. This is one of the best courses I am taking at Udemy and I highly recommend for anyone who wants to learn all about MS Access. Money well spent. Thank you so much.

No doubt it, if you're a complete beginner to MS Access, then you'll gain tons of useful knowledge from this course. I knocked one star only because of the pace of the course (slow) - even for a beginner I thought it could have been sped up a great deal. By this I'm not referring to lecture content, I mean the time spent where the instructor is typing in a bunch of data, teaching how to resize windows, etc. I was constantly skipping 30sec-2min at a time.

I found this course very helpful & clear. The delivery speed was appropriate for people experienced in other MS Office products. The explanations were very clear and built knowledge throughout the course. The working files were useful for following along with the course. The only reason I didn't give this course 5 stars is that there are no exercises provided or suggested in this course. These would be very much appreciated in any future iterations.

I just completed my first pass through this Definitive Guide to MS Access 2013. I say "first pass" as it was a LOT of content and bears much review, and more time with the practical exercises. I am no longer afraid of Access. I think that is the spot that this course led me to. It will only be after more practice and solving a few real-world problems that I will develop any proficiency. But this was a crucial milestone to achieve first. Thanks!
