MongoDB is a cross platform document-oriented database program. MongoDB Stores data in the format of JSON.
This course covers MongoDB starting from its installation with wide range queries including CRUD operations. You will learn MongoDB with Studio 3T UI Connector which is used to run queries over MongoDB database.
MongoDB Compass is an official UI tool to execute queries and you will earn that as well in this course.
Now a days Spring framework is widely used among Java Developers and specifically Spring Boot is in high demand. So in the later part of the course you will learn to use MongoDB with Spring Boot App using Spring Data MongoDB with help of MongoRepository.
We are in the era of cloud and who doesn't want to have applications in the cloud. In this course you will learn to deploy your Spring Boot Application to Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) which is Platform As A Service (PaaS) cloud provider.
There you will learn to use mLab which provides MongoDB on cloud. It is Database As A Service (DBaaS).
So by end of this course you will learn MongoDB in detail and you Spring Boot and MongoDB both will be on cloud. Isn't it Amazing.
You will Learn CRUD ( Created, Read, Update and Delete ) Operations in MongoDB and in the later part of the course you will learn CRUD operations in Spring Boot App using Spring Data MongoDB.
You will Learn to implement Pagination and Sorting in MongoDB and in the later part of the course you will learn to implement in Spring Boot App using Spring Data MongoDB.
You will Learn AND, OR, IN, Like and Starts With Query in MongoDB and in the later part of the course you will learn AND, OR, IN, Like and Starts With Query in Spring Boot App using Spring Data MongoDB.
You will Learn to write Native MongoDB With Spring Data MongoDB using @Query Annotation.

The mongoDB parts are very basic, but there is mentioned a lot of stuff around (which is not directly connected with mongoDB or Springboot) ... e.g. git, deploy to 2 different clouds, 2 different database browser tools. Form my point of view it would have been better to explain more direct mongoDB related stuff like big queries, how to optimize large content queries and so on.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Spring Data MongoDB course. The content was well-structured and presented in a clear, concise manner. The hands-on examples and practical demonstrations were especially helpful in solidifying my grasp of MongoDB integration with Spring. Overall, this course significantly improved my understanding and skill set in working with MongoDB and SpringBoot.

This course is good for very fast beginner learning the combination of Spring Boot with MongoDB, but I feel still at least an hour more we could expect from MongoDB with Spring Boot, that how to process large amount of data, batch processing, working with threads and MongoDB, how to use will real big cloud AWS, GCP, such kind of intermediate levels, and will request also in future to add such burning topics by trainer... well I will rate this 4.0 out of 5. At last I will thank you, but yes still you can do more with this course, still more we can expect from this course.

Such a clear practical explanation and neatly explained. I never thought MongoDB would be this easy. If we know springboot and JPA this course is a cake walk. Also the deployment in Heroku was nice which is similar to other cloud provider. A refersher course indeed

The course is great! I really liked it and I think it brings practical knowledge on spring boot with mongoDB. The only thing that I didn't like was the fact that the instructor doesn't explain the basics of spring boot, so you must have a background with the framework, and know the ins and outs of the technology to fully understand the lectures. In my case I had to search videos explaining about spring boot, otherwise I wouldn't be able to understand the lectures.

Thanks for the way you covered the different topics, easy organization and covered in detail to build interest in learners. Initially felt like it was going slow but i have continued as you covered different topics which i was not aware and heard before. Good job and thanks.

Good. Basics of MongoDB in conjunction with SpringBoot. Embedded MongoDB documents versus Documents with Reference. RESTFul webserices with REST endpoints for CRUD operations. Pivotal Cloud Foundry is no more offering its PaaS and hence the Heroku as PaaS. That is a point to be appreciated where the author has tried to update the content. All in all its a good introductory course for developers switching to MongoDB from Relational Database.

A highly recommended course for those of us who start with mongo and spring boot shows the basics that we can start from there something more complex, I would add something to the course that will explain how the data will be displayed with angular or some javascript framework so that the course would have more functionality.

I liked this course. The explanation was clear. The speed could have been more. Since I am familiar with mongo DB, even speed 2 was slow to me. Also I was expecting the tutor to show MongoDB Template Query and Criteria building and different options like $gt, $lt, aggregation etc. But those were not coved. This course offers the clear basics. I would certainly recommend this to beginners who has no knowledge on Mongo DB but wont cover the advanced Query and Criteria which r needed for real time applications

It's worth to invest your time into this course. It's short but covers all the basic you need to know about NoSQL. Despite giving 5 stars this course has one deploying section which is almost useless this days and has to be updated. It still doesn't make other topics less usefull. I'm really glad that finished this little course
