Marious Kuriata's course is a short introduction to networking, built around the old Microsoft 98-366 exam. It runs about 5.5 hours across 49 lectures and five sections: network infrastructure, hardware, protocols and services, plus a block of bonus videos. The exam itself is retired, and the description says so, but the topics (OSI model, VPNs, firewalls, wireless, basic subnetting) are still standard entry-level material. About 5,450 students have taken it. It was last updated in September 2022.

Reviewers like the plain explanations. Several say they started with zero knowledge and came away able to follow their class or attempt the test, and subnetting gets praise for being easy to grasp. Real-world comparisons, like the OSI layers as a driver carrying passengers, land well. The complaints are consistent too. Some find it too simplistic or too summarised, one reviewer says the structure wanders and has filler, and another says it leans on memorizing. A few mention an accent, a fuzzy slide now and then, and a pace that can be sped up.

The ratings are solid: 4.6 from 1,287 reviews, with 602 five-star and 450 four-star ratings, and 57 in the one and two-star range. Reviewers who wanted to pass a Microsoft test say to plan on a second resource, since there are only chapter quizzes and no practice tests. Despite having an accent, you will understand what information he's trying to pass across. Nevertheless, you will have to go study some other material for in-depth information if you didn't have prior knowledge of some networking concepts.
