Tomas was actual on point when explaining the concepts of Ableton. I had no idea how to use Ableton session view and arrangement view until I took this course. This course was really well put together. The only thing that I might suggest you include working exercise files to accompany the lectures, I think it will be easier for people to follow along if they are just starting to make music using musical instruments or midi controllers :) Other than that, I love the course and was fun to complete it.

So if you are new to Ableton then this course is a pretty good place to start. Advanced users probably need to look elsewhere - except for the 'Push 2' and 'Max for Live' sections - which are great and very in-depth - so if thats what you need help with this is one of the best courses i've seen on those subjects. Just wish i could afford a Push 2 !! I was hoping for a bit more of an in-depth look at the actual creative uses of the Instruments, Samplers etc - especially for designing your own sounds - which is not really covered as in-depth as it could have been. Ableton is so good in those areas too - but maybe that was outside the scope of this course. Having said all that for the £10 (that i paid) for this course - its an absolute steal !! :) Nice work Tomas !! :)

I think this series is quite good, actually, but I felt that if better scripted it would be stronger. Very clear on basics, but the lectures can be a bit improvisational in spots. That said, it is an exellent resource for new Ableton Live 9 users.

De balk onderaan met engelse tekst laat niet toe alles te zien, zoals bvb het gebruik van de sneltoets opgenomen in de uiteenzetting. Ik miste de uitleg van opnames van vinyl platen voor het maken van samples met push 2. The rest was amazing !! Thomas is a very good teacher, hope i can meet him once ! great thanks !!

I really like the course coming in small bits so that i can try it out for myself. You don't get bogged down with too much information. So far so good. I have been able to reproduce most of the lessons satisfactorily but have found lessons 43 to 45 a bit confusing, Not sure I will need this information but will return to these lessons later if necessary.

I especially love how most lectures are bite sized or perhaps even modular. I don't always have a large block (30 minutes or more) time to allocate to learning so I enjoy being able to take in a quick 5-10 minute section on individual topics. I'm glad these are also closed captioned. That's also very important for me. The sections are logical and well organized.

This course has been fabulous for learning the possibilities in Ableton Live 9 Suite and Push 2. Although there will be areas that I will have to re-visit, for example Max programming, the idea that in Udemy you can rerun the courses really work. I have tried out or practiced each section that I could, do not own a Push 2, as the course has progressed. This has really helped me to learn a lot of the elements of such a complex software package. Thank you.

Need more info about everything you doing. Mouse flow is to fast. You have to know exactly what will you do during sections. Not just start and speak without order. We need more exactly exapmles what we can do with efects and you have to say give some real music examples from mainstream music world (Like you mentioned Lean On. Ned more of that.)

It's paced well. Explanations are clear, concise and filled with details. As we are doing this on our own pace, there maybe times when we start something new after a while and suddenly forgot to how to do the something we've learned previously. Current lessons can be improved if there are some reference to past lessons. If there are links below to map us back where we are lost, it would be nice. Overall great work and I'm already applying techniques I've learned from here although only 40% throughout the lessons.
