I really appreciated the practical approach of this music theory course. It helped me understand how to apply theory to my electronic tracks. However, some of the lessons were a bit fast-paced, and I think more examples would have helped. Overall, it’s a valuable course, but you might need to revisit some sections.

This music theory course provides a solid introduction tailored for electronic music producers. The instructor explains the concepts well, but I felt that some sections could have gone into more detail, especially on applying theory to different genres. It's a great start for beginners, but advanced producers might want more depth.

the course was really fun and beautifully explained! it wasn't heavy and super technical and is great for absolute beginners. however, as someone with a bit of knowledge in production and keyboard, I was already familiar with a lot of the material taught in the course. although some of it was helpful and important. i'd still recommend it though since it's a very enjoyable exprience!

Really exactly what i wanted! I dont have any experience with music theory but this made it easy to understand for me. I just want to create music and make nice sounding chords for my music productions and this is the way to go. Thx again Martin for such a great cours!!

I like Martin's other courses, but this was waste of time and money. If the terms - scale, root and chord already mean something to you, then this course won't teach you anything new and worse, it will probably confuse you. Martin uses very confusing terminology in a random fashion along with the smallest dash of music theory - the scale and triad - to create 4 bars of really bad music that even he doesn't like!

For a person with no music theory knowledge found the course very easy. Concepts are well explained and the tricks are definitely a plus. Thanks!

Well explained and easy to follow along. The concepts are understandable for beginners and those who don't know anything about music theory. You learn the basics of music theory for DAWs by creating chord progressions on the piano roll. This is a good course for music producers who don't have an understanding about music theory for DAWs. I learned valuable information and I will use it in my music production.

Seriously guys! I can't say it enough, TAKE THIS COURSE! I've never really understood music theory and didn't know why I should know it. I mean, it's good to know it but is it really necessary if you want to be a laptop producer? Since i got this course i can now create full chord progressions and finally understand why and when i should put notes to make them sound great together. Again GREAT...
By Charleen Keur on 1/15/2020
Honestly, I've always had some problems with music theory but with some cool tricks provided by Martin I am now able to know WHY I should put some notes in to the chords and why I shouldn't put others. Thank you for this, made it a lot easier to create those nice chords!
