Outdated. It is good for theory, but technology is moving so fast that the code examples dont work anymore. You need to add a little bit of extra work to make the example code to work.

Good summary of what Open AI API knows, and even provides some ideas on how Open AI API could be used, while these are definitely informative they do not add value once you understand the idea itself (like setting up a connection to GitHub server). That said again, the ideas are really interesting and helps you understand the potentials of LLMs, and of course you can always skip some videos. All in all definitely worth buying!

This course is really good, not only it has a lot of projects for using the OpenAI API but also there is a section for vector embedding and how to use them. You get the notebooks and also a fully functional python code that you can refer to as a reference later on. Most of the questions are already answered in the Q&A sections and if there is a new question, Jose replies in a short time which is great.

It would be better there should be full(future) course outline to know what to learn next to get better in working with Gen AI and there use cases. I strongly recommend to have course outline to learn all the essentials to have good understanding on Gen AI like lang chain, unstructured document search etc.

I recommend Jose's course for anyone asking me how to get into or re-enter software engineering. It's exciting stuff and it's one area getting a lot of growth at a time when other parts of our industry might even be contracting. Jose also keeps it simple in python so you can follow and build along without python experience.

As usual,Jose always delivers high quality content and this course is no exception. The real keys to this course are using Python to connect to the various models and building functions and code to perform the tasks. There is also a fair amount of quality 'prompt engineering' here and the hints are useful.

Another fantastic course by José! I enjoyed this course so much, I completed it in just a few weeks in my spare time! Not only was this a great introduction to OpenAI's Python API, but it was a really good way to get back up to speed on Python after having been away from it for quite a while. The example projects were really fun to complete, and I learned a lot about the various models, pricing, and current capabilities of OpenAI's API. José has a very engaging and personable style of teaching, and this course only reinforced my already high opinion of his training skills. Lastly, he responded to one question I had in a very timely and helpful manner. Absolutely recommend this course!

Once again, Jose Portilla has exceeded my expectations with his latest OpenAI Python API Bootcamp course. He has explained and laid out the Python code that calls upon the OpenAI large language models (LLMs) via the API key in a straightforward and comprehensible fashion. Portilla's course module content reveals the abilities and limitations of LLMs, which cuts through the hype and fear put out by the establishment media over AI. Best of all, I really like how the instructor put together custom Python class modules to summon and use the OpenAI LLMs. I really recommend to Jose Portilla to create a new Udemy course focusing solely on advanced Python programming, especially with object-oriented programming, classes and methods, and abiding by the Don't Repeat Yourself (DRY) principle of coding.

I loved the course (teaching style and content). As development of openAI's models (and their availability and pricing is changing almost monthly), keeping the course up-to-date and relevant is a challenge. I changed almost all examples to use directly the gpt-3.5-turbo model instead of text-davinci-003 ... soon gpt-3.5-turbo will have to be replaced by get-4 .... and text-davinci-002 and older models will no longer be accessible.

Great to know how to utilize the hottest topics in techlonogy with light use cases. The course was pretty general and gave me a lead to think how to move forward from here. As he discussed, things change in this field quite fast but he did a great job trying to update as quickly as possible.
