Performance Management: Objective setting for Managers (Udemy.com)

This is a very good course. It is helpful in setting objectives, understanding of urgency and importance, allocation of 20% effort to tasks for 80% result. It is a sure guide for managers in setting target for both task and people management.

Excellent, highly educative. It is explicit and will help participants in setting SMART objectives and ensures proper monitoring, feedback and performance appraisal for improvement purposes. I appreciate HCM team for making the training "MUST DO" for all existing and new Managers.

I would like to be able to download a PDF document of the topic covered in each section as some other course I have taken have done. This allows me or other to study more and use as reference to implement the learned task.

Some contradictions in the objective examples as to what the course taught on how to write an example. For instance is said us specific dates including year then gave an example of increase by 3 clients in the next two months!

Really great course! It was punchy, on topic and didn't tangent into unrelated things. Concepts were well delivered and easy to absorb. I found the example objectives exercise in the early-middle a little hard to follow because they were so open ended; I would have liked better a kind of case study or profile of a specific organization and what objectives it would set and how they could be improved in their situation. Otherwise, I really really enjoyed the course and highly recommend it.

I like this course, it helped to reinforce concepts and theories I already knew by presenting them in different context I hadn't thought about before. Sometimes you need to hear someone else explain something before it really clicks and that's what this one has really done for me.

A short (around 1 hour) series of videos and activities that have application to all objective setting contexts. If you are new to objective setting and SMART objectives then this is a good introduction. If you are experienced in these then this is an excellent refresher.

Good information. Well presented. Only complaints would be about production issues: sound was way to low _except_ in the bonus lecture (sales pitch), green screen backdrops useful when presenting concepts but not as nice as a real setting when just talking.

Yeap. That course started a few questions, that I didn't ask myself. So I benefit from taking this course and now after finish it - can say, that taking benefits from it. Recommend taking it.
