Course Description
he demand for Playwright Automation Engineers has grown tremendously over the last few years, and for good reason. Developed by Microsoft, Playwright is a modern automation framework built for today's web applications. It offers exceptional speed, reliability, and cross-browser support, enabling you to automate Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit using a single API. With powerful built-in capabilities such as auto-waiting, network interception, API testing, parallel execution, tracing, mobile emulation, and rich debugging tools, Playwright has become one of the fastest-growing automation technologies adopted by organizations worldwide.
If you already have experience with Selenium and Java, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how smooth the transition to Playwright is. Since this course uses Java as the programming language, you can leverage your existing Java knowledge while learning a more modern and developer-friendly automation framework. You'll quickly appreciate features like automatic waits, simplified element handling, built-in assertions, and robust debugging, all of which help you write cleaner and more reliable automation scripts with significantly less effort.
This course has been carefully designed to take you from the absolute basics of Playwright to building a production-ready automation framework that follows real-world industry standards.
We'll begin with the fundamentals of Playwright and gradually explore its rich automation capabilities. You'll learn how to automate modern web applications, handle complex UI interactions, work with multiple browser contexts, perform API testing, intercept and mock network requests, upload and download files, capture screenshots, record videos, generate execution traces, and implement many advanced automation scenarios that are commonly encountered in enterprise projects.
One of the biggest highlights of this course is the industry-standard Playwright Automation Framework that we build together from scratch. Rather than simply writing automation scripts, you'll understand how professional automation frameworks are architected and maintained in real software teams.
Throughout the framework development, you'll implement:
Page Object Model (POM) Design
Data-Driven Testing and Test Parameterization
Browser Factory for Dynamic Browser Selection
Reusable Test Utility Classes
Global Framework Configuration & Properties Management
Sequential and Parallel Test Execution
Test Grouping and Selective Test Execution
Maven Profiles and Runtime System Variables
Beautiful Allure HTML Execution Reports
GitHub Actions for CI/CD Integration
Playwright Trace Viewer for execution visualization and debugging
Playwright AI Agents & MCP Integration to build AI-assisted automation workflows
In addition to UI automation, you'll also learn how to perform API Testing directly within Playwright, enabling you to validate backend services and combine UI and API automation into a single cohesive test suite. This is becoming an increasingly valuable skill as modern automation engineers are expected to work across multiple testing layers.
Whether you're a manual tester looking to enter automation, a Selenium automation engineer planning to migrate to Playwright, or an experienced QA professional who wants to master the latest automation technology, this course provides everything you need to become confident with Playwright in Java.
By the end of this course, you won't just know how to write Playwright scripts—you'll understand how to design scalable automation solutions, integrate them into CI/CD pipelines, leverage AI-powered automation capabilities, and build frameworks that are ready for enterprise applications.
If you're ready to future-proof your automation career and master one of the most sought-after testing frameworks in the industry, let's get started!

Another great course from Rahul. I'm from Senior Automation Engineer with Java background and I was eagerly looking for a Playwright course with Java. This course lived up to my expectations. Excellent resource if you are looking for a playwright with Java.

Been meaning to pick up Playwright with Java for a while and this one finally got me there. Starts easy with the Java stuff so you're not lost, then builds up nicely on locators, auto-wait, browser contexts, API testing, network mocking. The framework section is where it actually got fun for me, POM design, data-driven tests, TestNG parallel, Allure reports, the whole GitHub Actions setup. Didn't expect the AI Agents and MCP part, that was a bonus for me..

An excellent Playwright Java course with a perfect balance of theory and practical implementation. Every module is explained clearly, and the coding sessions are easy to understand and follow along. I especially liked the framework development, real-world scenarios, and interview-focused content. The course is regularly updated, which makes it even more valuable. Whether you're transitioning from Selenium or starting automation testing from scratch, this course provides everything needed to become job-ready. Highly recommended!
