This course goes beyond just DAX calculations—it also covers many practical tips for building effective reports. The concepts are explained from multiple perspectives, much easier to understand. I’ve taken more than four courses, and this is definitely one of the best.

This course was really great for my learning jouney. I started with next to no knowledge on how to navigate Power BI and as I progressed through the course I learnt a multitude of skills that I simultaneously referred back to my current workspace. The learning empowered me to build a report that showed far more complex concepts and data insights that what I even imagined possible at the start of the journey! I would give a 5 star if the bonus videos were clearly defining the data sets to use so that we can easily follow along without having to jump around different reports. Overall, I am very happy to have completed this course!

Great course. Very thorough and come with a lot of experience. It could start out as a more case-based tutorial rather than a full walkthrough of all the buttons one can click. The concept around context is very confusing. I've watched different sources on this topic but still find it iffy. It is a very bad concept from Microsoft anyways and certainly could have been packaged better. It might be easier to understand it as how PowerBI filters/unfilters in sequence where later filters add on to or nullify the previous ones. The contents about adding measures and handling dates are extremely helpful.

This was the first time ever I learned something online. And it was so helpful. Den is very good in explaining and most important thing is he always answer your question that too very quick. It's good course. I highly recommend to do it if you have no background knowledge in power Bi and wants to learn from scratch.

The course is very good. Initially, I did not like it as I thought it made PBI look/feel complicated. Perhaps, a bit on the advanced side... However, after reviewing other PBI courses I realized the course indeed has a lot of strengths. It explains DAX significantly more than many other courses. The explanations for visualization are very practical. There is a lot of information in the course and I am happy it is part of my PBI collections.

Overall the course is a very good primer to learn about Power BI. The instructor is very knowledgeable, but a little hard to understand at times.I had to replay certain sections of each video to understand what was actually said, but that is okay as the presentation and content made it worthwhile.

As a beginner with absolutely no knowledge about Power BI and how it works, i started this course to learn something new so that i could eventually start a new career in this field and i am very happy that i took it because i found it very easy to understand and keep up with. All the lectures were very detailed and after completing it i have a good understanding of Power BI, although personally i still need more practice so I do think i will also try other courses later on to increase my knowledge in this field. Also, my interest never wavered in this course so thank you Dan for creating this extremely useful and interesting course!..... :)

Awesome course. very easy to follow and learn

It's been a great match so far. I'm been using SSRS for over ten years, but Power BI did not become an allowable option for my work until recently. This course is giving me an opportunity to explore how the new (to me) tool might be used to transform some of our reports.
Halfway through and still enjoying the class. Hoping there is more about converting SSRS reports
