The best online course I've ever taken in my life! For the simple reason that the instructor, Nikolai, is very good and has extensive knowledge of the subject, Microsoft Power BI Data Analysis, and he's also very good at explaining and teaching it. It's quite difficult to find that winning combination to deliver a course in excellent shape. Nikolai has the knowledge and knows how to communicate it. He clearly demonstrates what he said in the course introduction: that he's passionate about data analysis and that he's passionate about teaching. Very true. I won't hesitate to take the other courses he teaches. I'm sure I'll learn a lot from them. I highly recommend this course, and the instructor, of course.

Nikolai was very engaging and knowledgeable in the subject matter. Nikolai explained everything very clearly. This course was very comprehensive and did get into the more advanced aspects of Power BI which was what I was looking for. This course gave me a very solid foundation of Power BI. One suggestion I can make is to include an explanation on the difference between dates, date hierarchy and creating Time tables.

Great course! Clears every concept of Power BI in very simple and effective way. Small exercises and assignments helped a lot understanding practically. I loved the way how Nikolai deep dived into the complex concepts and made it understandable for us. Ultimately, it's a truly amazing course and hence recommended for all the data enthusiasts out there :)

I took this course with no prior Power BI knowledge. The course is well structured, explanations are clear. Although the layout of some features was a bit different in my Power BI version, I could find 99% of answers in Q&A section where someone had asked the same question before and had received an answer from the instructor or the assistants. I wish there were more tests in the course, as it was great way to test if I understood the feature or topic as good as I thought. Overall the course was very useful and I definitely recommend it!

The course was great, very good, but in some examples with visualization (mostly with DAX), I didn't have same result as Nikolai, and that's frustrated me. Maybe reason for that is because Power Bi was updated in few years and some things are little different (cosmetic things), but course is still very good. Still, I can recommend. Also, I need to thank for lesion with MySQL database.

Great course, my first course on Power BI (coming from Cognos). I wanted to learn Power BI as it is an in-demand skill that can help me and my future goals. I have already started using the skills learned from this course in real life writing a HR dashboard. The only thing this course was missing was working on a real-life dashboard (capstone project) for a business department such as HR, Sales or Finance and writing the DAX Queries, building different pages, working with KPI's/Metrics and visualisations. Although the data within the course did give me the knowledge to do this alone. Working with multiple dates would have also been great to see that uses USERELATIONSHIP on inactive relationships to get multiple measures from multiple dates on one table to a Calendar table. This course has really helped me to understand the basics of Power BI and most things the software can do; I will look forward to learning more and also looking back at lessons in this course while creating many future projects. Thank you for taking the time to create this course :)

Now don't want to spend much more money to learn anything and with the help of Udemy we can learn everything with very less amount of fee..In Hindi language we say.."Raja bhi khush aur praja bhi khush" it means king and people both are happy.

Due to my organisation's security policy, there are a number of features of Power BI that I cannot access, but the course was very informative, the opportunities to practice were great and the resources available were mostly accessible and useful. Nikolai was a very good instructor, sometimes a little too technical, but because I could pause and rewind the course, that was OK. Thank you very much.

Excellent course! I have been an ETL developer for 10+ years and want to expand my skillset with more BI tools / knowledge. This course is VERY comprehensive, well organized, has a fantastic pace and covered everything that I needed. DAX is perhaps the most difficult aspect to learn but Nikolai has a real talent to slow it down and simplify complex concepts in order to get a good foundation and expand from there. The course is really well structured, with a sensible flow. The way Herr Schuker teaches is easily understandable. He paces his lectures really well, explains and demonstrates seamlessly in this course. I have worked exclusively in Tableau for 5 years and was finding it difficult to adapt to Power BI since I had a notion that Tableau was better.
