Course Description
Product and service management is the process of designing, creating, and maintaining a product or service through all stages of its lifecycle. It involves a wide range of operations, marketing, and sales related activities.
These activities encompass the entire range of product life cycle – from the conception of a new product or service idea, to its design and launch, and later through its growth, maturity, and decline stages.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
match phases of the product life cycle to actions that should be taken at each phase,
sequence the stages of the new product development process,
match current best practices in new product development with their description, and

This course on Udemy developed by Sorin Dumitrascu was an excellent way of learning about a very complex and difficult subject in an online environment. The instructor's knowledge regarding the subject is undeniable and with his ability to explain things clearly and concisely, he presents very relevant concepts in a manner that even those lacking previous experience will be able to grasp them successfully. This course is obviously well designed and delivered in an easy to follow structure from start to finish that students are sure to appreciate throughout the duration of their time spent taking it.

I wish I had discovered this course when I was still working in corporate. The insights shared by Sorin are incredibly valuable and have made me rethink my approach to Product Management. He is a well-respected instructor who delivers his content with conviction and competence, which makes you want to learn more.

Well-researched information, trusted educator, with very handy printout slides for most lectures. Only downside was the content was a little dry with too much PowerPoint, very easy quizzes and sometimes moving a bit too fast on some of the "exercises" that are within some sections. Otherwise, it was still very valuable and met my expectations.

This is a very informational and challenging course (but in a good way)! I wouldn't recommend it to total beginners because the content is quite heavy and laced with lots of terminology. The flow of the presentation (especially the formatting of the bullet points) was a bit difficult to follow which made the content overwhelming at times.

The course is a very good match for me. I needed the information for an interview preparation and with this course the basics can be addressed really well. Also, what I find really wonderful is that a parallel script is present, where if you have missed something because of the accent, then you can also read it.

The lecturer was quite fast and could not hear most of what he was saying. Secondly he did not use relatable real life examples during the course of his lecture. Expected more examples for manufacturing consumer goods product

English not being my mother tongue, even though I have spent more than 10 years in English speaking countries, I must say it is difficult to understand, voice is monotonous. However, content is interesting. But again, it is difficult to understand and for each video, I had to rewind in order to really understand, with subtitles. Sorin's energy and speech is involving for the better during the course, making it easier to understand toward the end.

This course contained a lot of good information. Much of which I'd studied before, but had forgotten and therefore was not putting into everyday practice. I do hope that someday you will offer a transcript as well; a lot of very useful information was provided orally but not captured in the presentations.
