Public Speaking and Presenting at Work (Udemy.com)

My last presentation for training information was the first time I've presented in years. I had a good set of slides, knew my content, practiced but still - was so nervous. Dry mouth and unable to adlib any of my talking points.

Grammar issues in documentation (unprofessional). Some conflicting messages (i.e. create a character for you to be while presenting / Be yourself). Some things I probably disagree with (i.e. talking to myself in a mirror, doing a power stance). Certainly some things I found useful and overall worthwhile.

It was a good course. Very informative and easy to get through. Presentations were in the perfect size to listen to on the way to and from work. Then I would follow up with reading the documentation when I had a few minutes. The documentation was easy to read and reinforced the presentations. I enjoyed the course and appreciated it. Thank you.

The course was more of a refresher course for me. I come from a training background so public speaking wasn't new to me. However, I did enjoy and learn from the course material and it helped me to remember some important things about public speaking that I can still apply.

Very often as a participant I'm bored with the presentation showed and especially the way it's being presented. When I have to do it I always try to walk in the audience shoes and make it interesting. This training will for sure improve my skills in that area and I would like to thank you for the resources which could be downloaded and used.

It is a good course but I am not currently doing big presentations at my work. I only need to be able to present in front of 4-5 people at the time and it usually doesn't require a lot of preparation. Some tips here and there will help for sure though ;)

This is one of the most complete public speaking courses I have taken. It covers anything from designing a presentation to focusing and dealing with the audience, overcoming stage fright. I highly recommend it and sure will be using some of these techniques to improve my presentations at work.

This course is highly recommended. The course addressed various areas regarding Public Speaking and Presentation. Presenting one's vision will take the development of understanding and knowledge of how to connect with others. This is a course that will empower your skills and desire to excel.

it is a good match for me as a service champion. i am required to make presentations about service on weekly basis and i am not conversant , i am not getting used to as i am always nervous even though i do the presentations on teams. i am going to start doing the tips i have learnt as if i am facing my audience, i really appreciate the course

I really enjoyed the course! There were some sections that I did not agree with but overall I gained valuable insight and learned some new techniques that I can use when preparing for public speaking presentations and during a presentation. The resources are very helpful and will come in handy!
