The course is good, it starts with an introduction of the different tkinter widgets and how to use them. The phasing is just right, I suggest you follow along while the instructor go though the lesson so you can easily see the result. I initially struggled with the instructor's accent, not sure if it's an Indian accent or Australian like Tim Buchalka(?) because like "pack" sounds like "peck" as well as "pad", and a few more words. I kind of struggled at first training myself to understand so it's good that Udemy has a Closed Caption feature so I enabled it and it saves the day for me. :)

So far, I have learned a lot. I notice that the teacher has stopped responding to questions from students for about 10 months. I've had a few questions myself which has not been answered yet. It feels like the teacher has given up somehow when he started doing the Library Management app. Everything is just read and written with little explanation. The syntax has been explained earlier but I am missing why he chooses to do things in a given order or other deeper explanations.

so far so good ... after 50% of course I can say: brilliant! it works for me! ... as a beginner I have been learnt a lot of and now capable to design my first simple applications in python. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Excellent. It was really what I wanted. It's not too slow and highly detailed, as for beginers, but also, very understandable. I didn't saw an example of treeView widgets neither any MVC aproach. It could be a plus... But, I'm still satisfied with the course., Volkan is a highly qualified professional. He don't waste time looking for something wrong in the code. He finds it, and fast. I will be one of his follower in python programming, for sure.

I liked the content of the course in general and the apps that were developed. Still, I have to admit that the language capabilities of Volkan result in some difficulties in understanding some details, as well as a lack of explanations for various points. As a payed course, I think it should provide more explanations than typical online tutorials, which was barely the case here. Also, in the example apps, some functions simply lacked in the end (e.g. asigning the keyboard shortcut for "clear all" in the text editor), which conveys a certain impression that there is a lack for details. This is in my opinion also to be seen in the complete ignoring of PEP 8. Still, I learned quite a lot and that is the main point, so thank you!

One of the best things so far is that we are getting an explanation from the basics, helping us to understand and learn everything much better. Also we are repeating certain steps a few times which is very important in learning something new. Thanks Volkan!

Section 1 - 3 could be valuable to whom have less or no experience on Tkinter, section 4 more or less repeated the knowledge section 3 already introduced. If this course is designed for intermediate level, I suggest adopting/mentioning some good coding practice. For example, a lot of code are simply copy and paste then modify few things, the instructor doesn't stick the same naming convention, varying from snake case to camel case, uses some magic string, like "-" to sperarte user id and user name in section 4, all these could bring some extra burden when maintaining the code.

Hi there. The course is excellent and gave me a jump start with tkinter. The examples are really good. Missing 1 star, because during testing the windows, the freshly added code is mostly covered. Result was that 1 hour block took me 1.5 hours, because I often had to rewind, simply stopping was not enough.

This course is very good for application developers and learning it in python makes it super easy. This course is little advance and you must know basics of python such as OOP and basic syntaxes. In this course you will learn how to create applications using python. I thank Volkan for making this course and it is very good. Thank you very much!!

Let me start by saying that I'm not a profesional Python user Just someone who started lerning to make his work easier. I had some experience with Tkinter (learning from YT and the internet) but this course did exceed my expectations. Click events adding SQLlite queries and DB files as the place where data is stored showed me a whole new way in which I can (nad I already started) improve the tools I already have and gived me ideas for some more things. To summaryies... this course did cover all (and much much more) topics that I needed (and expected). If you want to know how to write your own GUI this will teach you how to do it. Great work!
