Salesforce Introductory Course and Career Planning (Udemy.com)

She is the best, the only thing is that her courses are in classic view and I am interested in Lightning. I wish it was in Lightning therefore, I did not buy this. But is has the best information how and where to begin, really helped me clear up a lot of questions.

This course is an excellent overview for the learners. It sets ones expectations clear about how to get the most from the sales force, and what should one do next. Everything here is beautifully articulated and the sessions are clear and concise. A Fiver from my side.

instructor moves too fast mostly because MY salesforce account screen looks nothing like hers! new version?? I have no butterfly...:-( UPDATE: Okay - aside from the difference in appearance and function and navigation between her account and student account - she was great. Very knowledgeable and as a database programmer, she blew my mind how Salesforce decided to name their objects/records/fields. After so many years of SQL and 4gl programming, it will take getting used to. For maybe five minutes!

Since i am new to salessforce, the basics were important and its described well in this course. Also, guides me on the course path i need to take. Easy to understand language used along with the examples provided makes this course worthwhile. Thank you, Deepika.

Deepika explained the concepts of Salesforce in a very simple manner. I was able to relate what is Salesforce and which certification would be appropriate for me. She discussed about the pay scale applicable in US but, it would be good if she can cover some other countries like India or Australia etc... I really found the course very helpful before enrolling for a certification program and would recommend it to everyone who wishes to pursue career in salesforce.

Created a Salesforce account and have found that the screen does not match the information in this course. As such, I am having to spend a LOT of time trying to find where the instructor is in regard to the same functionality on my access. As such, this is a VERY confusing course.

She is clear, concise and very easy to follow along. I can really tell that Deepika loves teaching. I'll be signing up for a few of her courses including the intro developer course, which I know will be challenging. However, I'm confident that Deepika will make it easy to understand. I enrolled in this course for information on why to pursue Salesforce in the work environment but there was almost none or limited information regarding that. I hoped to gain a better understanding so I could make a well thought decision on whether to pursue this field.

The slides were good and explained nicely in simple words. However, in one place, I struggled to find the "Schema builder" on Salesforce website. The quick search option as shown in the slide was not available for me since I created a new account. After looking at various links there, I found that the Schema Builder option was listed under "Setup" area (located next to the user name on top bar). May be this can be improved in future. Other than that, I found this course a very good starting point for new comers to Salesforce.
