Course was really an excellent deal for the money. Really need to have a little background on servos to get anything out of this as the instructor isn't the best at explaining things but it's good to see examples when you have some experience. I would recommend having some platform to either emulate a servo system or a physical test bench to work along with this course.

I have been to the Rockwell Automation motion training and this course was very very good. It is nice having the hands on experience with demo equipment at the training center classes, but the information was all there.

Great material and demonstations, I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn or improve on servo motion control. My current project is a bit more complicated then the material covered, but I understand much more about the control methods now. Thanks for putting this together Shane. I look forward to more material.

The course itself so far its being great, but i do think that i you can show (for future trainings) what the motor is actually doing (like a split screen-ish) would be more helpful to fully understand what it is actually happening, don't get me wrong, the way you explain thing is the best!! trending helps a lot, but some visual of what the motor is doing would help also.

I really didn't have any motion control experience other then muddling through issues at work and not actually understanding what was going on. This course provided a solid foundation and understanding to motion control and I look forward to going through the advanced course.

When I first watched your youtube video, I knew your class will be an awesome class. And I am so glad I did register for your class. So far I have enjoyed watching and following your Teachings. I can bet you that, attending Rockwell Training won't gain me much in-depth Knowledge in Motion Control like, I gained here. Great Job!

It shows lack of preparation by the instructor. You can tell he doesn't have a script prepared for the videos and results in a lot of not so useful information given and lots of small mistakes while using the software. I find myself constantly forwarding the videos trying to find the useful information. There's lots of useful information but I don't think I should be looking for it throughout the video.

This course was a great way to learn the fundamentals of running servos on Allen Bradley based systems. Shane brings you through the programming of ladder logic based motion instructions, complete with checks and balances to ensure the servo operates in a safe manner. I recommend this course to anyone getting started with Kinetix based servos.

I have a great deal of experience with process controls and this is just what I needed to give me a jump start with motion controls. I just finished the UDT video, which was excellent btw, and I'm beginning to learn something new. I highly recommend this course for anyone that wants to know how to build a program to control a servo drive the correct way. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ While it is true that you get out of it what you put into it, this course is not for newbies. You do need some familiarity with the subject and you must have a good feel for RSLogix 5000. Hardcore users of Siemens and Yaskawa will be frustrated throughout the entirety of this course and I know that, because I am proficient with Rockwell, Siemens and Yaskawa. I've just completed the full course and I have a much better understanding of Rockwell's servo systems now than I did when I started. I can't wait to start the advanced class! Put in the blood, sweat and tears now, and reap the rewards later. Just do it!

This Course has helped me in my job. This course is great for anyone looking to get into rockwell motion control. Shane (The Instructor) Is very clear easy to understand and follow along. The course content is rich and covers all the basics to get you going. I look forward to the more advanced course.
