What is the Spring Boot?

Spring Boot is an extension of the Spring framework that eliminated the boilerplate configurations required for setting up a Spring application.

Spring Boot is an opinionated framework that helps developers build Spring-based applications quickly and easily. The main goal of Spring Boot is to quickly create Spring-based applications without requiring developers to write the same boilerplate configuration again and again.

What is Apache Kafka?

Apache Kafka is an open-source distributed event streaming platform used by thousands of companies for high-performance data pipelines, streaming analytics, data integration, and mission-critical applications.

The course was pretty good , but only one thing is lacking, when interacting with the Wikimedia API we need to send headers as well which was not mentioned in the course and it was quite a headache to find the solution , even if the course instructor cannot create a new video on it , a simple short note would have been very helpful , other than that the course is very good and packed for a 4 hours course.

This course is very helpful for the professionals who are in java backend and want to establish a event-driven architecture for asynchronous communication between microservices. I really liked it the way he has explained with each steps of implementations.

"The Kafka practical implementation in this course was good, and after completing it, you will be able to build basic Kafka producer and consumer applications. If you're looking for a foundational understanding of Kafka, I would recommend this course. However, if you're seeking in-depth knowledge, this course may not be suitable..

While the course certainly provides a good explanation about kafka, java and spring, it becomes repetitive when you reach out section 5. Also, having a small section to talk in deep about kafka components (i.e. how you create a partition) would be fantastic. My recommendation for the author is to compress the units and try to use the same project for the whole course. That's why I'm giving 3.5 instead of 5.

Definitely! If you're a Java developer or working with Spring Boot and want to get started with Kafka, this course is a great launchpad. It gave me the confidence to start experimenting with Kafka in my own microservices and even sparked some ideas for improving our event-driven architecture at work.

Hey Ramesh, As an Indian student, I’ve taken all of your courses and completed most of them. Each course has been incredibly helpful, with clear and simple explanations of complex concepts. The content is well-structured and engaging, and the real-world examples made everything easier to understand. I’ve gained a lot of valuable skills, and I highly recommend this courses to anyone looking to learn kafka effectively! Thank you, Satwik

Good examples to start with expected to have more real world project example. The examples are not as per production grade design. Also kafka basics are covered and not the professional use cases like retention time of messages. Distributed brokers and partitions structure needed to be covered in more detailed.

Great course for beginners who wants to quickly start building Kafka event driven application. On point explanation of each concepts , provided only necessary information instead of overwhelming learners with lots of details. Thank You Sir for this amazing course. I really enjoyed it.

Curso maravilhoso!!!!
