Spring Data JPA Using Hibernate (Udemy.com)

I think it's a good course to get a complete beginner familiar with Spring Data JPA. There's a few mini projects here and there that aid you in your learning since you can see some more real-world use cases (although the projects are very simple in nature). The instructor seems pretty active in answering questions, which is a big bonus. Some downsides are that the course is getting a bit outdated and it may require you to do some troubleshooting. There's also a lack of best practices here and there since the focus is on teaching the basics. Just be aware of that to not develop bad habits. All in all I would recommend it to get you started on Spring Data JPA and get familiar with the concepts.

Some of the SpringToolSuite dependencies are outdated. I couldn't use hibernate w/ the current update 2.4.1 spring boot; however, once you update the dependencies and work through the app configuration, it works for all the projects. I'm a current developer and we use eclipse and I've found that this material is beneficial.

Great. Bharath Thippireddy has a very pleasant, dynamic and straight-to-the-point way of teaching. Take the course without fear. This really is a course on what happens on a day-to-day basis in the real development of a company. However, prior knowledge is required. It is not a course for those who want to learn Spring but for those who already know or work with Spring and want to specialize in JPA. But it's up to whoever is reading this. Thank you Bharath!!!

Dear Bharath, first of all thank you very much for this excellent course! The course was hugely helpful for me and I enjoyed it a lot! Many questions that I had had been answered and a lot of issues had been clarified. Now, I really have strong confidence in applying and continuing Spring Data JPA challenges. I needed approximately one week of hard intensive work to finish this course and I recommend it to everybody who is up on his way to learn Spring Data JPA. What I liked the most about this course is gradual progress broken down to the small little even atomic steps where a student like me never loses the overview and bigger picture of what is going on. I just adore it when an instructor like Bharath presents the majority of his course in short videos which rarely surpass a length of 5 minutes!

Excellent course. Well organized and straight to the point. I would have liked if you had gone a little more in depth on things like tradeoffs between inheritance strategies and complexities of one-many relationships, but perhaps that is more for a follow-on course.

very good course from Bharath. All the latest topics were covered in spring data jpa including dockers, AWS and React. Nice to have Advanced topics in Dockers and AWS. I strongly recommend his courses. Thank you.
