Tableau Certified Data Analyst: Top Exam Prep Course (Udemy.com)

There is a lot to Tableau, and maybe it's my fault for thinking the amount of time in the videos would cover everything I needed. I had to reference the tableau website to read about a lot of extra things especially calculations because they were thrown at you very fast with minimal syntax guidance, which to new coders can be VERY confusing. I did complete my Tableau Certified Desktop Specialist Exam - I passed with an 80% and I ONLY took this course and read extra materials for about a week. This course is the best bang for your buck for a beginner but expect to do some extra homework!

Excellent course to prepare for Tableau certified associate exam. Content and mock exams are very useful to prepare you for the real exam. I practiced the mock exam multiple times along with the few other courses from Udemy. Also watched and practiced the the free training videos from Tableau. All these helped me to clear the exam. I would like to thank the author for all the practice exams and quizzes which are very helpful. Data connection section was very resourceful. The explanation on each topic was very easy to follow and understand, quizzes also help to solidify the knowledge. I am very pleased with the structure of the course and response of the teaching assistants. But to my disappointment, it is a very short course with limited content. I was expecting a bit more advanced contents on some topics like parameters, setting actions, dashboard design, story points, APIs, extensions, fonts, design principles, sharing/embedding dashboard in other formats etc. I am also a beginner and this is my first course solely on Tableau, even though I did have some basic knowledge before. I was looking for something advanced which we could not find on youtube or for free on the web and was hoping to design stunning dashboards after completing this course. For just passing the exam, relying on this single course might be enough or not I am not sure but for scoring close to 100% I would not recommend to depend on this course.

The course was a bit more for a beginner than anticipated. While the formula, create calculation, is very similar to Excel - it is different based on how Tableau processes the commands. The instructor moved the cursor from point-to-point quickly, even multiple times, that was too quick to follow. Once the speed was stepped down a notch, then you could follow the "click, point and click again". The instructor(s) screen was larger than what was viewable on the user end, so the discussion could not be followed because the visual was below the screen. Since there is no scrolling of the screen, while playing, that information is lost. The instructor(s) talked to soft or low. It was difficult to hear at times. Overall the course was good. It could be better based on other Udemy courses taken, but good. It would be nice if the exercise solutions could be downloaded for review when performing the exercise again. Difficult to keep flipping screens. Overall, satisfied. Thanks

This course was amazing! My team recently switched from MSTR (MicroStrategy to Tableau), and using this course helped me get up to speed in the tool. Also, I managed to study this curriculum, practice problems, exams...along with the Tableau Study Guide and got my Tableau Qualified Associate certification within a couple months! Highly recommend this course if you are trying to take the first level exams. Thanks so much for the great explanations and so many practice problems!

I have been working in tableau for a while now and started with Kirill Ereminko's course. This course is meant for people who want to learn deep and not just learn high-level tutorial to survive in tableau once in a while. I love everything about this course except I wish there is some more explanation on Statistics and trend lines. I haven't used them much but I think it should be part of this course to get a even deeper understanding of Tableau. Great job @Lukas and Udemy for offering such a great course in a affordable price.

This course is perfect for Tableau Cert readiness. I used the original course back in 2018 to get Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate Certification. I used it again for the Tableau Data Analyst Certification and passed both exams on the 1st try. This course is great for reviewing topics on the exam. Lukas is awesome. Thanks Lukas! I just cleared Tableau certification. Thank you Lukas. Great course content, very clear and to the point explanation, plenty of quizzes and practice questions.. The two sample tests are very helpful for the certification preparation. I highly recommend this course to anyone who wants to clear the certification or just want to enhance their Tableau skills.

This course is very focused on the Tableau Qualified Associate Certification. It covers all the bases with regards to the topics covered and tested for the Tableau Qualified Associate Exam. Very clear, precise and simple explanation of topics. The only opportunity for improvement is provide more questions on the topic based quizzes. Also,, more mock tests would be a great value addition. In my personal experience, knowing/understanding a topic is not enough to clear the exam - the most important part of the preparation is to practice exam type questions as much as possible to build speed of thought and action. That's where more practice questions and mock tests would help.

Most of this course I found very helpful and clearly demonstrated. Sometimes, I felt that steps went too quickly and I had to rewind many times to actually see each step that was performed. Overall, I feel that I got a lot out of this course. Thank you.
