Course Description

Welcome to The Blender Encyclopedia, the most comprehensive training course available for Blender, a completely free and open source 3D production suite.
Our aim with the course was to make an expanded version of the Blender Manual, that you can follow along or reference at any time in your 3D journey.
Further than the tools alone, we've made sure this course contains not just the how, but the why. Throughout the course, we've crafted example demos, as well as step-by-step projects, that will take what you've learned and form it into a practical example.
You can get all the Blender files used in the lectures, complete with models, textures and other resources. This includes starting files so you can join in! Just open the Blender file for license details, if any.
We have created this course specifically for Udemy, and you will have unlimited support from us in the Q&A section of each lecture.

Instructor Details

Lee Salvemini

I've had a passion for 3D and video game creation since I saw Toy Story as a kid, and got my first game console. Istarted my computer graphics journey with Blender, and have been blessed to work as a Technical Animator for over 10 years at various studios.
Even early on, I enjoyed sharing what Ihad learned by making tutorials for the Blender community. So along with fellow trainer Christopher Plush, co-founded the 3D training website CG Masters.

By Matthijs Berkhout on 11/7/2020

It gives good explanations what the different screens in the interface means and gives you good and effective shortcuts.

By Dominik Wernicke on 11/7/2020

Schon in den ersten paar Minuten Dinge gelernt, die ich vorher in noch keinem Tutorial gesehen habe, top!

By Richard Villegas on 11/7/2020

I have taken several courses on Blender and this is the best at describing what keys are being pressed and what they are doing.

By Matthew on 11/7/2020

This course is great! I wanted to get into blender because I'm interested in architecture and interior design, but there aren't that much good tutorials on Youtube. This course has everyone I wanted and beyond that! I can't wait to complete it.

Fantastic, I learned so much, thanks. Crystal clear explanations.

By Ali H AlMusllam on 11/7/2020

Perfect course for the noobie to establish their base knowledge, and for pros to refine their current knowledge. Strongly recommended.

By Dave Shaver on 11/7/2020

Great detail, covered quickly but thoroughly. Very easy to listen to and plenty of information on every topic. I've dabbled in Blender for some time, but this will take me to the next level. Excellent course.

By Jordan Grant on 11/7/2020

Brilliant I loved it, I am 8 years old and I found it simple to follow.

Llevo muy poco. Muy contento con la calidad de las explicaciones.

Picking up the tools and functions of blender really well. I like how the lessons are concrete and are easy to listen to.

By Gordon Feinberg on 10/25/2020

Excellent explanations of the tools. I have purchased many courses on Blender and this is the best general course so far. I was not as happy with the animation section--I found it long-winded and hard to follow for what would seem simple things (unlike the whole first part of the course) but this is a great reference and learning tool for the foundation of the app.
