In my opinion, as a complete beginner without CS education background at all and after finishing like roughly 80% of this course, this course has some advantages and disadvantages: PROS: multiple Web projects with multiple tools like Bootstrap, API, and even WordPress, free web hosting coupon, step-by-step instructions, downloadable solution. CONS: despite claiming "2020" tutorial, the tutorial itself is rather outdated, I found out when I followed the tutorial, the code doesn't work because I use the latest version of tools, and I have to downgrade my version, so I can follow his tutorial, this can be dilemma for beginner since most didn't know how to access similar function in the latest version. For example: he used older JavaScript and Node. JS version, so there is something going on to me, yet I can't tackle the issue since I am beginner. In addition, if you are having problem with tutorial especially non-syntax issues (if syntax issues, code writing error, you can simply download his PDF), and want responds from teacher ASAP, most of the time, either you will never get feedbacks or he will answer after a month or so in rare occasion. (for example, I am asking like 10 questions, yet he only answers one and it doesn't help either). In conclusion, this tutorial is rather old and not beginner-friendly, it can be better

This course is vey good so far. The professor explains everything in great detail. I really like the course. I just want to say that I really like this course so far. Issam does an outstanding job with detailed explanations on how to set up various web pages and I really like the web projects that we put together.

I'm impressed with this course because of the projects, especially the Notes application which is quite sophisticated and shows how to set up user accounts with a username and password. There is also a car sharing app that is great. I have purchased other courses that just had simple projects. The lectures are done nicely and are well organized. The instructor was responsive to questions I sent via email and gave good answers. This is the best web development course I have seen on Udemy for learning html, css, javascript, jQuery, Bootstrap, PHP, mySql, and more and the instructor is great.

The only thing that I would recommend is to do this on a bigger screen or something. The code looks messy and it's quite hard to understand if you're new to the programming world (lucky I wasn't). Otherwise, this is a very nice and complete course that teaches you about everything you need to know to create a nice and professional website. The only thing you have to do, is listen, learn, practice, and then go and create ! Thank you for your help and for the time you put in those videos ! Much appreciated and I wish you the best.

The instructor offers great material and at the end of each learning stage, we create an actual website that we can add to our portfolio. UPDATE: I completed this course a while ago. At the time I was finishing up my Software Engineering Degree. I can say with 100% honesty that this course helped me more in securing my current job as a Software Engineer than my actual Degree. If you put in the time and go through this course, you will succeed. This course is on my top 5 list on Udemy!

I completed the course (2018-03-04). Starting out I had some basic knowledge of HTML, CSS & JS. Also, I have a background as a teacher (not in coding though). This course delivers and is great value for money! I have learnt a lot thanks to the project based approach. The curriculum is carefully thought through building up skills progressively. The instructor, Issam, is easy to understand and does something very important: he teaches you to think like a programmer. He shows you the logic of a script with a flowchart and then codes it explaining what he does. Also, the course is huge, covering both frontend and backend. Last but not least, Issam is very helpful in answering questions. You can see that he cares about his students. If you are serious about learning to code I highly recommend this course.

This course is 2-3 university level classes rolled into one. Well worth the money, especially if you are still relatively new to webdev. I have immersed myself 4 months and have become quite proficient. I would have liked to see a bit more on JSON and webpack but there is only so much you can fit into a 76 hours window. Also this guy goes a little slow sometimes, correcting spelling and stufff thats not pertinent to the class. Im only 35 hours in. Overeall 5 stars. Edit: The web hosting provided is giving me minor problems.
