The Complete Graphic Design Theory for Beginners Course (Udemy.com)

Amazing course for a beginner. Other courses here on Udemy talk a lot and I have to skip through to get to the actual information. This course doesn't do that, I end up watching all the video without skipping.

Halfway through the course and it is still amazing. Learnt a lot about and Typeface and Fonts. This course is comprehensive and informative.

Its a great course, I learned so much. I love GD, Im designer for job experience, not for college and finally I could learn the theory. Im going to take the logo design and adobe masterclass courses.

Well, what can I say? I have just finished the course, and I must say, it's one of the best courses I've taken on Udemy so far.
1. The tutors are super knowledgeable and are able to convey the information in a simple, engaging, and understandable way. With it being theoretical, it can be hard to just sit through hours of listening. Not in this case. Because ->
2. The production is outstanding. All videos have powerful visual support, which makes it easy to follow along and understand what it's all about. The quality of videos and narration is great. There is no background noise of a computer or other people who might have been around. Everything is clean and well-edited, which, once again, makes it easy to follow along and get engaged. Additionally, tutors are nice to listen to, speaking softly and slowly, so nothing overwhelms you.
3. The theory provided in the course is the very foundation that I (already doing some designing work) lacked drastically. For example, color theory. While they don't tell you "you should pick your colors like this", tutors provide a solid understanding of how it works and how it would all go together, what's natural and pleasing for the human eye. So, in the end, you can just recall what you heard them tell you and think about it, analyze, and come up with a more effective and visually stunning design.
I have so much to say about this course, which would not probably all fit in here, but the bottom line is, it really exceeded my expectations. I've seen amazingly done courses here, but this one stands out even among those.
Again, since the course is theoretical and includes only a few practical exercises, the quality and the way information is presented are essential, and I think these guys nailed it!
I went through it pretty fast and some concepts may not be well-settled in my mind yet, but I know for sure that as I work, I will be going back and referring to this or that in this course.
I will surely look into more courses from Lindsay and Jeremy and highly encourage anyone and everyone interested in learning design to do so as well!

Amazing course. The videos are so beautifully done, concise and direct, and also engaging. I liked a lot to watch them, even tough some theory I have already learned from others courses. The instructors speak clearly and give good demonstrations. The only reason I am not 100% satisfied is because, after becoming excited and searching other of her courses, I saw a lot of content of this course is covered in a bigger course called Graphic Design Masterclass, so I should have bought that one instead. Anyway, I found this course fantastic. Congratulations.

I have always loved art and photography. Taking a new step in life to learn graphic design. This course was great for me. Starting with the basics and going into what is going on in 2020. Looking forward to starting the next class.
