No better time than now, and only increasing
With WordPress powering more than 40% of all websites on the internet, there's never been a better time to build an income and a business around it. Learn the most current and modern best practices with WordPress design, hosting, management and business processes outlined in detail.
You're here because you want to master WordPress, right? Good idea. You're in the right place. And, you can do it without learning any programming or coding.
While WordPress is open source, and because of that has thousands of developers building resources for it, it still takes quite a bit of learning to become a master at building and managing websites with it. It's not just learning the WordPress software, there's a small amount of graphic design knowledge needed, hosting and server management, troubleshooting broken sites or problems by hacking into the back end and server setup, and properly staging development environments around new sites or when performing updates and changes on existing sites.
Why am I qualified to teach you?
Through this course, I'll teach you everything I've learned and mastered through 16 years of building, managing, migrating, and hosting WordPress websites.
"He is concise and well spoken, without dumbing it down at all. As a total newbie to WordPress, I'm thankful he's offering this! 3 lessons in and it's great so far." --Jamie Rasmussen

--Mohamed Fawmey Mohamed Vinodh
Many of my best and biggest clients have come from "abandoned" WordPress websites, where the client's website designer or developer has left the scene. My ability to get in and restore, fix, redesign, and continue to manage WordPress websites brings me lots of instant and recurring income.
You'll learn how to do all this in more than 18.5 hours of easy-to-follow video content, fun lessons and challenges.
During this course, you'll learn everything you need to know to start or improve your own WordPress website business.
The WordPress Ecosystem
"Straight forward and neat! Just what I need to step up the freelancing ladder. Highly recommended." --Mr. Graciano Jose Reyes
It's probably no surprise to you that the WordPress community has thousands of really talented and creative developers, designers and technologists working within it. And you may know that much of their work is available as open-source resources that will enable you to build your own business.
The open-source philosophy doesn't mean that no one makes any money. On the contrary, by sharing much of what we, as a community, create, we all prosper much, much more, because we all share in expanding what's possible with WordPress.
By spending zero-to-little money, you can stand on the shoulders of those who came before you, to create your own business niche, by learning the skills and secrets presented in this course.

Gregg Davis
Hey! I'm Gregg Davis. I'm a teacher and a student, an artist and an athlete. You might call me a self-taught computer geek.
Working with computers has always been playtime for me, since the 1980's when, as a kid, I would see what I could do with a Radio Shack TRS-80, writing little games in BASIC.
I'm a long-term skateboarder and a nationally-recognized snowboard instructor and coach, and I've been creating websites for clients since 1996. In snowboarding, I've been teaching students for 25 years and studying teaching and learning in my own professional development. I started building websites exclusively with WordPress in 2006 and I've built a thriving business using open-source and inexpensive tools.
By leveraging other people's awesome code and software, I've been able to create a business that provides chunks of instant income from creating websites, and recurring and ongoing income through hosting and managing website for clients.
The freedom that this business offers is truly amazing.
The demand for reliable and consistent website design and management is only growing - and WordPress is the most popular platform in the world. Powering more than 40% of all the websites across the entire internet, supported by thousands of developers who are creating open-source code you can leverage and use in your business, there's no better platform.

Excellent foundational course for web design starting at very basic and leading you to more advanced design techniques, plus a whole lot of useful advice about how to manage the business itself, from hosting, monitoring, proposals, payments and more. Well worth the investment of time and money!

Very clear explenations and interesting content. Compared to 1.0, for me the 1.0 was more interactive. I did more myself then, now I watch more. Maybe something to upgrade this 2.0 version? How to make it more: make participant do more themselves?

This is a very intuitive course to follow. Super examples to date of all the different ways to use WordPress Themes. Makes you think about how to use WordPress and the level of detail wish to use. Whether this is with Twenty-Twenty Two, Frost, Kadence or Divi

Excelente curso, me gustó porque habla más allá de solo temas de wordpress, si no también de hosting, correos y da ejemplos de como el configura sus sitios web y planes de pagos! Las últimas secciones son muy buenas, no muchos cursos de wordpress las incluyen.

Gregg is obviously very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from this course. I appreciated the real-world examples of what services would cost and how to navigate product dashboards, but I feel some of the explanations of why you would want to make certain configurations in particular products were lacking. I found value in having access to the sandboxes and appreciated the flexibility in being taught how to navigate through several different Wordpress themes and hosting sites. There is good information in this course, but some of the organization seemed scattered. Be prepared to rewind videos a bit and do some hands-on design work to extract the most value.

This course was just what I needed to better understand the innerworkings of WP. A couple of years ago I muddled my way through a WP install and got a webpage for my farm up and running with a template, but I struggled with how to make it more personalized to my needs as well as wondering which plugins I should be using. Gregg has an upbeat teaching style and covers a lot of ground in this course, giving you a better understanding of how everything works and what today's standards are for "best practices"

Really excellent course. This really is a complete course on how one could establish a WordPress Website business and covers everything from hosting, other elements like email and DNS in addition to how to actually use WordPress effectively and the sorts of themes and plugins that are available for it. Thank you Greg for putting together such a comprehensive set of modules and lectures; I've really enjoyed the course and learnt a lot.

I just completed the course which was great - it covered almost everything I would want to know when starting up a new business as a freelance web developer. I would love to see some printable or downloadable resources related to repeatable processes for easy reference. I've taken notes but now realise that I've missed some things so I have to go back, search through and watch the videos again. I would also love to see a list of the recommended plugins and when they are appropriate to install.

There are many WP courses out there, but this one really made an impact on me. Gregg's teaching style is enjoyable and I like his pace. This course not only covers how to build websites with several options within the WP ecosystem, but like the title says, when it comes to the business side of things there is no better course than this one. The insight and tips are pure gold. I highly recommend this course.
