The Complete YouTube Course by YouTubers with 100mn+ Views (Udemy.com)

I use gimp as my main graphics program and am using a little PowerPoint. I enjoy following the Photoshop tutorials and converting that to GIMP. In most cases, it is pretty straightforward, but there are some instances that it's a bit more complicated, such as turning text into 3D. It's very easy to do in Photoshop, but the process can be convoluted in GIMP, but doable. I am already pretty good at using GIMP, so a lot of this stuff is more review than anything else, but its good practice.

It's a very comprehensive course. I loved the lessons on making YouTube thumbnails using Photoshop. As well as the lessons, on making titles, getting more subscribers, analytics, additional tools like TubeBuddy. The only thing that needed work is the lesson on filming. Chris went a little overboard and showed us a bunch of gear, but he did not get too much into how to use it. Mainly, your camera and lighting. Still, it was worth the price.

Loved the course! The videos are agile and really well explained by both Chris and Sacha. I learned a lot. I would personally like to have the thumbnail section updated to be Canva centered, as most of us content creators use it in the present. Also, as there were different options for editions, I found myself skipping those videos as I had already seen the previous one. I would add only one as main tool, and the rest as optional videos.

The course had a good step by step coverage especially on the photoshop techniques. Some suggestions: - Refresh the content with new recordings, especially on the YouTube interface which had changed quite abit since recording around 2019 pre-covid, TubeBuddy generally had less free functions & require monthly subscription - More step by step for Adobe Premiere as well, similar to how you've covered photoshop, noticed the demo was on Apple's Final Cut Pro only with less later parts coverage using Adobe Premiere. Good to have Window video editing software covered if possible... Nonetheless, the content's really good to amazing! Cant think of any better one than this, thanks Chris & Sasha!

Amazing course for a person who knows nothing about YouTube. It is designed in such a way that even a stupid person can understand concepts with ease. Go for it without wasting your time thinking whether you should buy the course or not.

I love this course so much! It covers everything you need to know about youtube, and I think this course is perfect for anyone starting out on youtube, or even someone who is just thinking about having youtube channel. Even if your just trying to have fun on youtube, or maybe you don't want to show your face, as long as you have a youtube channel ( or are thinking about making one), take this course. It's amazing.

Learning from Chris is definitely a step up from most other teaches. Informative, inspiring and downright relatable. Add in Sacha, a teacher with an amazing personality that comically grabs and holds your attention while explaining the finer points of the subject and you have the perfect combination to present an in depth course on this great platform. Thank you, Sacha and Chris.

I found some parts boring to watch, and other sections the teaching wasnt as professional as I'd hoped for. I'm building a gaming channel, so some things in the course are not relevent to me, but others are. I know that it's important to have a thumbnail that looks great to potential viewers, but why is there so much of the course (11 sections) just focusing on that alone?

I enjoyed this course. I like the different areas they dive into. The only thing I would look at improving is the thumbnail portion. It took up so much time and some of it could've been spent on other things. Pretty much any section under 15 minutes could've benefited from a little extra time. Maybe structuring it better, as well? Like a section for each software where you cover each topic for Photoshop then the next section is Powerpoint, then Gimp, then Pixelmator. That way the students can go straight to the software at their disposal. Other than that nitpick, I found the course to be helpful and enjoyable.

The start of the course was useful and delivers what you would expect to have a comprehensive knowlegde of how to get the best from any video uploaded to YouTube. A lot of the course is what I call common sense but it's good to know I am thinkinking along the right lines. If this course offers you nothing more than confirmation of your thought process, then for me, it was still worthwhile. That said, there is still information I have learnt and will use when I start my YouTube channel. The reason for not giving the course 5 stars is because the camera was often hunting to find focus; that was mentioned during the course but the presenters failed to put the camera on manual focus to keep the picture sharp. Some of the analytics could do with more analytical information and the Final Cut element was very basic and could be better.
