Course Description
This course presents students with 12 pieces of recital music influenced by Spanish culture and includes Flamenco as in 'Fiesta' and 'Grenadinas' to the traditional 'Malaguena' the romantic 'La Catedral' and haunting 'Soledad' which reflects Andalucia's Moorish legacy.
At the start of this course I have presented a lecture which will teach students how to master the'Rasquerdo' the flambouyant form of strumming which makes this style of music so exciting to play. I have also added tips on how to strum effectively, achieve higher arpeggio speeds and on how to produce richer sounds by using vibrato.

I believe this course is excellent. It has excellent variety of Spanish music which are helpful to facilitate understanding rhythm, harmony, and flexibility of melodies. Invites to learn more of Spanish music and its origins. A good way to consider visiting Spain and have the opportunity to be mire enriched by the co!ors of its culture.

I am two-finger picker, thumb for bass, pointer for the rest. Obviously this is quite limiting and I have been unsuccessful, until now, to add a third, middle finger to the proceedings. This course is teaching me in a very digestible pace to use a third finger for plucking - a eureka moment for me! Mr. Green is an excellent mentor and a skilled teacher, as well as a wonderful musician in his own rite. Easy five stars.
