"Brilliant course. I'm quite new to the world of POWER and this course has shown me what it can do in a way that a newbie can understand. Recommended. I will be looking for other courses by them."
- Andrew
"Extremely clear instructions and has framed the subject matter as usable in the real world as opposed to just an academic sample. I was exposed to Power Pivot in one of my classes in college but it was presented in a way that made it difficult to apply to my work. Glad I found this course!"
- Jeff
"The best course where you can get the knowledge from Advance Excel to Power Bi. Highly recommended for Excel data analyst."

It was great except that the parctice files were not in the source documents provided. These were missing. Kindly look into this to make our learning more interesting Thank you. I still need the file to practice thank you

It was a little bit dated from when the course was made to when I took the course for software upgrades, and not all of the exercise material was included in the download zip file, but the course was very informative all the same. If the videos were re-done with the current software available, definitely a 5-star course.

This course is a great intro for those looking to break into Power Query, DAX, and Power BI. I've really enjoyed the examples and the pace that the course is taught at. Thanks and well done!

There are some differences between British / US handling of dates that are not addressed for US users of the course. Also - video speed has been slow. End of lesson questions could be a little more challenging. But course has been great thus far.
By Alessandra McConville on 3/9/2022
Really useful course covering aspects of Excel I'd not yet learned (Power Query, Power Pivot), DAX which I had no awareness of and Power BI which I had played with but really had not understood. PowerBI keeps changing so some of the options esp for formatting have changed since the course was published.
By Deborah Mulvihill on 2/23/2022
I appreciate when Alan comments on his best practices and explains why he recommends them. He also provides real use case scenarios that give a very clear understanding of why you might take one approach when transforming data, rather than another.
By Rachel Lambert Miller on 12/8/2021
Definitely a good course, worth the time and effort. No course can give you everything, but this course is a really good place to start and get going with Power BI. I will be taking other courses through Simon Sez IT.
By Andrew Dugdale on 6/4/2021
Brilliant course. I'm quite new to the world of POWER and this course has shown me what it can do in a way that a newbie can understand. Recommended. I will be looking for other courses by them.

Amazing course! Alan is fantastic lecturer. Please email me with recommendations as to follow up courses you would recommend. In particular, i am keen to learn more about DAX, as i feel that setting up your data to work well is a much harder area than the actual visualizations
