The WordPress Bootcamp: Build 11 Websites with WordPress (Udemy.com)

I had a basic understanding of WordPress going in, but learned so much more along the way. The content was presented very well and it was great to have videos to follow along with the content. I would definitely recommend the course for someone wanting to learn WordPress.

Although I am only at the beginning of the course but his sound is really weak you can hardly hear and also in the examples that the lecturer shows he does not zoom and can hardly read what he writes. The course itself is built on working with built-in plugins and themes and it's a shame he doesn't teach how to build these things from scratch. I hope that with building the projects things will become clearer.

This was a great match for me since I have some knowledge of HTML and CSS. It's a very good introduction to Wordpress. But you have to persist to get through it or you might just give up at some point when something a little confusing comes along.

A comprehensive, hands-on, friendly-user, engaging, up-to-date course with latest WP 5, brilliantly explained, leveling up knowledge, building 11 website portfolio. You're amazed by yourself how much you are learning underway, in day-to-day steps. A straightforward, effective and efficient pathway to start up own online freelance business. Highly recommendable!

The course cover, installing wordpress locally and online hosting. Plus show you how wordpress works and how to use the tools of wordpress. Today I learn how to backup and restore wordpress site, from local hosted to online.

Instructor goes way too fast and Wordpress layout has changed since the course came out. In other ways it is a good course. It might be me, but I have to do each project twice, I get lost.

Enjoyed the course, learnt lots of new things. Glad he is not pushing for paid /affiliate products. Am looking at other courses by him.. I appreciated his hard work and for freeee!!! thank you

Instructor used a lot of redundant phrases such as "pretty much", "you get the point", "i'm not going to go through..." etc which really caused a lot of distraction. The quiz is seriously not well drafted. There questions are either not understandable or there could be multiple answers. Video lectures could be shortened by not repeating many of the redundant phrases.

After doing a full stack development with HTML, CSS, BootStrap, Java Script, Python, Node JS, Express, Mongoose and more, it is nice to have a CMS that gives me the option of building sites more quickly with a rich set of themes and plugins. The fact that still have access to and can edit the source code, and I can host my web sites on my cloud vendor of choice makes WordPress.org a very nice option indeed! I wish she would cover the hosting side to make this more of a fullstack course, but I agree that setting up wordpress on hostgator or bluehost is not that difficult. Some exposure to the cPanel in a hosting environment would be worthwhile.

Excellent tutor who doe snot talk down to his students, and, who delivers in a professional manner, and, has the skill to make complex situations simple and easy to understand. If you want to be a WP web developer, this is the GO TO GUY. Well done, John
